There has been a lot of talk about how maybe Nebraska should move back to the Big12.

There's never been a better time than now . . .

That curious, curious moment when you're watching a bad game between two despised teams and you suddenly find yourself caring deeply about who wins. Go Illinois! Skill the Scott Frosties!

Will Nebraska ever return to something close to their glory years (70s-90s)? Scott Frost obviously is not the answer. As much as I dislike them, it would be good for the B1G to see them finally become a good to great football program again.

This has to be the worst Nebraska team since frosts first year. I don’t see them retaining him past week 6 if this game is any indication of how bad they are

I've watched this game on and off today and the big takeaway is that the Big 10 west is going to have a bunch of wild games that end with both teams shooting themselves in the feet and everyone but Iowa and Wisconsin being below .500.

I don't really get Nebraska's play calling at the end of the game.  They don't have the playmakers to beat anyone down field and Martinez doesn't have the arm either.  They should be running some short passes to the sidelines or at least ones that get you a FD so you can move the ball a bit.  Trying to throw deep on your own 15 with under a minute isn't going to work.

The trouble is he has a 20 million buyout, which he signed when the old AD was heading out the door. And realistically whose coming to NEB?

NEB got hurt coming to the Big. They don’t really play teams in their traditional footprint, and they’re not really getting kids to come from the Midwest the way other BIG schools do - they’re an awkward fit on top of bad mismanagement.

I had forgotten Oliver Martin wound up a Nebraska but he finished with over 100 yards in the game, which basically equals his season production the last two years combined.

The announcer just said, "So long from Campaign." I thought I misheard so I played it back. And again he said, "Campaign." Maybe he meant, "So long from the start of the 2021 campaign."
