That team you saw was a poorly coached mess. I wouldnt take anything from last season. Start fresh and have every position up for grabs when practice starts in october
so far we have 2 scholarship players on the roster with Tschetter and incoming freshman Brooks. Just 8 more players to field a functioning team haha no pressure. Any update on Burnett, Williams or Howard?
Nuke the entire team and start over. Only takes 2 years to rebuild a basketball team into an ncaa tourney team. With the transfer portal there is potential now to completely rebuild in one season

I always felt Fisher was slightly overrated. He got some of the best athletes in the country made the tourney 6 times in 8 years and only hung 3 banners (one of them an NIT championship) during that time. Maybe had he still been the coach he would have done great things. I dont credit him for the national championship i, thats like crediting Moore with winning last years championship. Just my opinion
I doubt he would take the job here. He was very loyal to fisher as he did not take a HC job until fisher retired. he was an assistant at san deigo state for 18 years! Hes also 64 yo realistically only has 5 more years to coach. Would we want someone that old to fix the program only to have to start again in 5 years?
True however the team sitting at home would be forced to play in the first round while at least the teams in the CCG would have a shot at a first round bye
the top 4 must be a conference champ is a great incentive to winning the championship game. In the past it seemed like teams who made the championship game were punished by needing to win an extra game while the second place team in the division just chills. Now the only way to get a first round bye is by winning the conference championship game which is a huge advantage
Harbaugh was going to the nfl even if Jesus was the AD. Its been something he always wanted to go back when the time was right. The time was right now. Hire Sherrone Moore and move on GO BLUE!
