Ok, but how is that not targetting?

Guy goes literally 100% crown first straight into the head of the defender, shoulders barely touch.

announcers AND refs, "he didn't lead enough with his head and didn't attack head of other player".

ITS QUITE LITERALLY ALL HE FUCKING DID!!! WTF?!?!?!

It appears the high octane offense of the team from Columbus was actually outgained by the Wildcats of Northwestern.  Though the yardage total was close, the Wildcats also picked up up more first downs and controlled the time of possession.

I love how the Buckeye lines are playing, and - it will be a toss up between the teams from Columbus and East Lansing to determine my favorite coaching staff in the conference.   Keep doing what you’re doing…

MSU with a taunting call against a player who wasn’t even the ballcarrier.  The announcers are perplexed, even as you can clearly see the guy clearly looking down at jawing.

And, now UI gets hit with the exact same penalty two plays later.

Two trash programs.

Turned on the sparty game to see an Illini getting flagged for jumping up and down excitedly after breaking up a pass with a huge hit.

Yep, B1G refs are still a fucking PROBLEM.

The call was 100% correct; the UI player stood over the MSU player and taunted him.  If you don’t like the rule, that’s fine, but don’t blame the refs for enforcing the rule as written.

They made the exact same call against MSU two plays earlier.

Just because the announcers thought it was a bad call doesn’t mean they were correct.

Illinois O-lineman with a Big Ten record 61st career start.  (FBS record is apparently 65).

Here’s hoping that’s a record that’s never broken.

Can you imagine what these TN / GA announcers would do if they went on a proverbial “date” with either of these teams.  “Let me show you how much I love you…”
