That was an evenly played game until the 12 second barrage
Yeah, and if anything I was getting a bit annoyed watching MSU players just crack UM guys in the head and it not get called a major. I hate that the B1G seems to have no idea what a major is but at least they stumble into the right call; these refs were letting guys just get hammered without repercussions.
Sparty has gooned it up for as long as I can remember, which is about 60 years.
When they're bad they do almost to comical levels but honestly I thought they played reasonably skilled hockey against UM all season and thus didn't take a ton of cheap shots. This game got really physical early and often.
Wish I was that productive in 12 seconds.

ESPN announcers were insane. MSU player breaks his stick over a knee and they don’t think that is a penalty. Earlier in the game they kept showing an hit off the play on an off sides and they were indignant is wasn’t called.

The last two M hockey games are the first two I've watched this season. Need to start watching more hockey because damn this team is fun to watch.
Same here, guilty as charged (plus I just this week discovered I can watch these games on YouTubeTV!). The only sprinkles on the icing on the cake would have been an Open Net Goal...!

Great win. Love the highlight reel pass by Nazar, but Warren’s goal to go up 2-1 was my favorite moment. Knew they were gonna win after that one.
