Throws and catches were the problem not the gameplan. The yards were available the players botched the plays at important times or we would have won that game comfortably.
This team flashes at times. I think they will put together a strong run. Defense does continue to be an issue though. However, I think this can be a strong team with its current players. Hopefully they can win enough games before its too late to matter.
No matter the brainwashing they have done you cannot truly believe every program doesnt try to advance scout other teams signs. Even at the peewee level it happens. Every team does it! Every team has someone at rivals and future opponents games or at minimum watching video from someone at one of those games. The money is far too big to not to. Every positive run game has large and small gains. Your argument is subjective to the big picture. We beat one of the best defenses against the run against one of the few teams in a conference that runs or care to defend against it. It's ok
Did you watch the game? On two of their scoring drives Tua's bro was dropping perfect passes to keep the chains moving. Nothing you could do on a few of those. Our play calling certainly left something to be desired. Especially throwing 3 straight times when we really needed to run out some clock. But overall the team didnt play no where near as bad as you are saying.
Most non Bigten fans and even most rational of them still feel this is rediculous and everyone scouts with video. To think otherwise is nieve and childish. Sad that Michigan leadership never knows how to control the narrative and always reacts instead of attacks.

Warde you can no longer pretend to be an academic if you are too dumb to realize great football helps your entire institution to produce more academics. Buffalo is a very solid and balanced team. I would not expect Janeeth to make all those difficult touch floaters and layups every night. He was feeling it and kept them in the game while we were experimenting a bit. He is a good player and I am sure he will get his this season but many of the shots he made were not high percentage shots.
Harbaugh knows what he should do. He has been here before. Sit Alex Smith and let Kapernick play. Macnamara ends with beating teams we should beat but not quite enough to beat the top teams. JJ feels like he has that next gear IMO. Plus his ability to scramble puts the opposing defense on their heals just enough to let our talented RBs have more space.
We are limited with Cade. JJ potentially moves this team into searious contention with elite teams. We can accept almost again and again or move forward with a chance. The run game, conservative passing, and defense is not gonna get it done when it counts.
Being up 20 plus at this point is also winning football. It is also football that would beat good teams. This is not that so stop pretending this is anything but an embarrassing display but antiquated play calling.
We look dense and scared on offense. You will never be elite nor beat elite teams if you play scared and stupid. We look like cave men pounding a square rock in a round hole. Saying square hole is the best hole no matter the years of it not working has taught us. How does such a smart school play football like they are not smart enough to learn a better way.
