Love that Johnson tested well. But in today's game with Tyreek Hill and Zay Flowers...those little fast guys are featured in offenses.

The thing about Worthy is he's always had straight line speed, but his agility is what is in question.

So far he's more DeSean Jackson than either of those guys I mentioned.

These guys spend months now preparing for these drills to juice their times. The 40 time matters much less than how you use that speed on the field. The previous record holder, John Ross, was a major bust in the NFL.

Ross was a track guy who had one good seaon. Worthy was a star from the moment he set foot on Texas' campus. He's proven he can play at a high level.

The only question is...is he Mecole Hardman, DeSean Jackson, or his he more?

I haven't seen the change of direction to see an All-Pro, but he's got the speed and hands to be a weapon in some capacity. Plus punt returns.

Yeah, Worthy isn't a one-trick pony when it comes to being a WR, and this likely solidified his first-round grade.  The lateral quickness is a bit weaker as is his size, as NFL corners and safeties that can get hands on him are going to slow him down.  Plus, he had a lot more stops in college than I expected for an elite WR.  But the dude can fly and in the right offense he'd be really scary.

I get what you're saying, and you're right.

But I'm choosing to enjoy our National Championship, instead of lamenting anything. Hell, I'm not even thinking much about "well, going forward....."

Nope, National Championship. That's gonna hold me for a while.
