I don’t know why this is depressing. He wants to visit other schools, good for him. He has been here many times and has a great relationship with our an coach. If people don’t want to come here then they don’t.

I would like to see the Gophers on the schedule every year. MSU does nothing for me except cringe when we have to play them. The cheap shots, bad calls etc. The Gophers have been a rival since Yost and MSU really the last 20 years, except in the late 60’s and Bo’s first couple of years. It gets old being their Super Bowl.

According to this thread he basically said what are you going to give me and my family ? If you beat everyone else I’ll play for you. I am no coach but I might want someone that will get a nice nil and want to play here. Good for him, but will that person have the desire to improve and follow the coaches? I can’t answer that. We are blessed with 20. X 50 veggie garden. We mostly the basics but have peach trees, blue berries and raspberries. We just started picking a few. The veggies taste so much and much better you.

Devin appears to be a fine person. But when you start complaining about a 20 year old that helped us win the Big Ten I would think you might have something really done something yourself. He had some decent games but I don’t recall any all big ten honors. His best win against ND didn’t he throw a interception in his own end zone ? I don’t mind honest evaluation, but just to hammer someone ever chance you get gets old quickly. I do think JJ will probably win the job next year or certainly play a lot more, but we will see. I didn’t see our interior line get pushed around. I saw the middle jammed up and to their credit their tailback bounced it outside. Our freshman safety didn’t keep it inside. This happens with freshman or first time starters. Also remember their tailback is pretty good.
Living in N.C. this was on the news today. It is meant to be a one time thing. This way teams won’t have to concerned about missing a few games if they need to and will be the best chance for the tournament to proceed without to much controversy. It’s not ideal but it’s a plan at least.
One benefit is that players are under strict requirements so they are able to remain eligible to play. If they are not practicing for games they will go to parties like any other college student.
If they are taking classes they are freshmen and should be allowed to play. I don’t see any reason they shouldn’t be given the chance. The scholarship numbers would have to be relaxed, but with many players sitting out it might be a wash anyways.
It looks nice, but I am not an in door football fan. Maybe I am showing my age and this will be the way of the future. I think of Syracuse, Atlanta and Indy and none of those come close to outdoor football. Just my opinion.

I think they are speaking with many people. We will find out if things progress. This is probably the same with flip candidates.

No matter what offense have we must have a defense that will be consistent from game one to the bowl game.
