Don't you dare talk shit about Brian's takes if you're not even gonna be accurate about it. He said Chaundee Brown, not Caris Levert. And I don't see what's so crazy about thinking you can turn a high school player who's good at defense and eventually turning him into a good 6th man in college.
Did Dusty already put in work for this? Impressive and bodes well for the future if this is his doing so quickly after the hire rather than this being done for and handed to him.
Dang, was hoping beyond hope that no news was good news after WindyCityBlue said his source told him Hart was out. Props Windy for bracing us for this.
Part of me wonders if he's actually taking enjoyment in this while knowing his university has his back. After the post-game "handshake" with Walters, he seemed to be beaming with delight seeing how pissed off Walters was after that total ass kicking. I just picture Harbaugh spending what little free time he has cackling with knowing glee at the angst and despair he's causing the rest of the B1G.
Arkansas didn't just score twice in the 4th to make it look much closer than it was. They scored late in the 3rd and then scored with 11 min left in the 4th to pull within 3. They even got the ball with a chance to take the lead. That's a legit close game in my book.
This is amazing, thanks! I've always wanted to go back through all the songs, but it always seemed like an overwhelmingly daunting task without a playlist like this and your 2022 version.
That snippet only mentions the two game restriction on hosting recruits. Does the article also mention the NCAA agreeing to no additional games suspended for Harbaugh?
I think by passing on them now though, we're basically passing on them long-term as well. As it is, they would already be a drag from an athletics revenue standpoint. I imagine they'll lose even more value as time goes on wallowing with a partial stake in an ACC that seems like a bad fit for them. It's hard for me to see them being more attractive to the B1G in the future the way things are heading.
To me, the difference is that the Iowa game was one of JJ's first games starting. I think it makes sense for Brian to expect the better strategy was to force JJ to prove he can win a game rather than try to play Michigan straight up. Either way Iowa was likely to lose, but forcing an unproven JJ to beat them would at least add more uncertainty into the equation.
Hutch played in 2 games in 2020. My opinion is that getting a full season of Heisman-level play from Hutch in 2021 was a more significant difference from 2020 to 2021 than Cade's contribution, not to say I don't greatly value Cade's importance to that season as well.
With every huge win/title that our athletic programs get without the accompanying muppets post, I get just that much angrier that muppets were wasted on the men's basketball team beating Rutgers in a meaningless game.
Just wanted to say thanks for keeping us informed all season! Still have never actually watched a game yet, but I never miss your game threads. It has been a really fun ride following along their progress every season (even as slow as it had been going) since going varsity and finally breaking through this year. Go Blue!
I'm generally the type of fan that roots for the name on the front of the jersey, not the back. So yes, it's still fun to root for the team when they're not blowing late leads.
Mary Sue also had to step in when the Mel Pearson situation turned ugly. I don't think it's a good thing that Warde needs to be micromanaged by the president of the university whenever there's a major decision being made on a high profile Michigan coach.
What a ridiculous "solution." Coach K was retiring, so that can be planned out in advance. You think an a NFL team would just be cool with planning on having Harbaugh hired as a head coach but join a year later so that Michigan could have an orderly trasition? Harbaugh obviously wanted to go to the NFL last year, and there were no options even after a spectacular year at Michigan. He's not gonna announce a year in advance that he's quitting with no job lined up, and expecting anyone to do that is absolutely unreasonable.
Ohh man, Korean seafood pancakes I've had at Korean restaurants are bomb. Nothing like a breakfast pancake, it's a savory, thin, really crispy, greasy, fried pancake with scallions and a chopped up mix of seafood fried into the pancake. Visually they don't look great, but damn they're good. If you're anywhere near Annandale and want to try one, Lighthouse Tofu serves up amazing pancakes. Their specialty is soon du bu (Korean spicy tofu stew), and that with a seafood pancake is just a perfect meal.
I may be misremembering the MSU game, but didn't their defense just sit back all game outside the red zone? I thought we consistently moved the ball down the field with the run game as they sat back before their defense would tighten up in the red zone to force a bunch of field goals. I remember Illinois being the only team that tried stacking the box before OSU's ill-fated attempt to copy their defensive game plan.
Are you sure you aren't thinking of Juwan Howard? Harbaugh has always seemed to be right in line with Warde downplaying the significance of NIL like by bringing up Michigan's transformational over transactional experience as a major selling point to recruits. If you happen to come across that article again, I'd love to see it. Would definitely please me if Harbaugh changed his tune on NIL at some point.
Looks like they talked about it twice yesterday. Two of the segments are titled "Recruiting Roundup & WilmerHale report" and "More on the Michigan Hockey team and failed Al Avila trades." On the first segment he basically said the same things he did on the roundtable. He doesn't seem to follow hockey all that close, so I'm guessing he can't really provide all that much insight

FWIW, on yesterday's Dropping Dimes segment, Sam Webb said Jamison was second on Sherrone's list behind Lou.

LOL
FWIW, Sam Webb has been saying Michigan has been working to get Quinten to return since Sabb left.

He asked where?
Pay the players.

Did you forget about DJ Turner in both your paragraphs?
It seems like Seth agrees with you that Mason Graham isn't Mazi Smith. Mason Graham is better than Mazi Smith.
Coming into today I would have disagreed with you, but you're apparently right. I guess SP+ says we do look like the #1 team, not #2.

Why would Ojabo call him Coach Osborn if he wasn't, you know, coaching?
He doesn't have to be an asshole, but he just chose to be one.
I would hope we don't put Wallace on MH very often if Johnson is healthy.
Harsh. Even in this article, Harrell catches a stray

Maybe he thought Turner went 60th in the NBA draft.

Puns on player names is one of Dent reasons I keep coming back to the MGoBoard
Yep, same exact issue here. I started using Spotify as an alternative.

How could you forget Jonovan "The Jon" Edwards and Jichael Barrett?

Are you also known across your industry as ~top 5 in your field?

Totally agree with your take, but he was hired as co-defensive coordinator along with DB coach.
So is this where bluinohio should have complained about Seth talking too much?

Great list. FYI, Chris Peal committed to Georgia.
