Bringing a gun to someone at 130 in the morning after leaving a bar and getting into a verbal altercation and then telling that person there is a bullet in the chamber - this makes you intimately involved in a murder. This is not a tough one.

The big ten schedule has been mostly favorable so far. 5 games vs the bottom three teams compared to 1 game vs top three teams.
Also, we drew single-plays for 3 of the top 4 teams in the league this year. Typically this would be a good thing, but not so much in a year with essentially zero notable out of conference wins.
Confidence is high right now heading into a stretch where quality wins can be stacked up.
I’m having a hard time defending Juwan since he still had starters in, pressing, and trying to get steals at that point in the game. If you aren’t conceding, why should you expect your opponent to?
Agree with this. That program was spiraling when he took over. He took it out of a nosedive and is 9-1 in his 2nd year on campus. They’re probably not as good as their record, but before the season it seemed like 7-5 or 8-4 would have been a home run year for them.
IF the win was last year and IF Walker did not play for them. A lot of hypotheticals. The fact is that he inherited a spiraling program and stabilized it and has them at least trending in the right direction in less than 2 full years. Are they as good as their record? No, probably not. But they are certainly better than the late Dantonio teams.
And it’s not like they picked a name out of a hat to get Walker - they identified him and effectively used the portal to go get him. I personally would prefer a staff that uses all available avenues to acquire talent. Is it sustainable? Who knows. But if LSU is sniffing around then the guy is doing something right. It’s a big leap of faith - time will tell.
MSU would be stupid to not throw this money at him, especially since 2 donors are funding the whole thing. Tucker seems to be a good motivator and an improved recruiter compared to Dantonio. Not sure about in-game coach but he checks a lot of boxes.
If Harbaugh started 2-0 against osu you’d better believe he would have been able to demand whatever number he wanted.
I don’t think LSU would offer someone with such a limited head coaching track record but it would be great if they did. If he is able to parlay wins into some recruiting momentum at msu he could be a bigger thorn in the side that D’antoni

Now think about Zion at Duke. You couldn't turn on ESPN without seeing him. He was the face of college basketball - almost every single game was nationally televised. He became a household name - people who know nothing about sports knew who Zion was. When he left college he signed a $75 million shoe deal. No chance he gets that kind of money if he goes to the G League after high school.
Sure, maybe Emoni could get a $50 mil endorsement out of high school and nobody could blame him for doing it - but if he can play nationally televised games a couple times a week and be a National POY-caliber player in college, the value of that first endorsement goes waaaay up.
So you can take the $1mil G League paycheck right now, or don't get paid for a year and drive up your value significantly. Exposure is everything. And don't try to sell me on people watching G League - nobody cares about it. People will always watch college hoops because of school affiliation.
