Hard to root against Washington. And thank you for taking out one of the all-time coaching frauds Steve Sarkisian. UW, much like UM, has been underestimated all year. And yet they are 14-0 and obviously an elite team. They're hard to figure out. Other than Penix, they don't seem outstanding anywhere, and yet they win. They have been in relative control all night against a Texas team that many thought was the best in the country.

Washington defense is fine. Maybe it's not elite. Sure. Maybe it's not as good as, say, Penn St. But they seem like a quality-enough unit. They've played a lot better offenses than we have.

It will be a shame if Texas pulls out a win due solely to a UW injury.
That said, do I want to play the team (UW) that's given up 50 yards in seemingly fifteen seconds against a mediocre quarterback? Yes, please. I don't care how good their offense is if they can't stop anybody on D.
