A doughnut... in honor of the points Sparty scored. Nice.
October 22nd, 2023 at 2:32 AM ^
Excellent idea. I too shall celebrate their donut with a donut.
October 22nd, 2023 at 7:49 AM ^
Donut forget the coffee

I truly apprechiate your humor.

To MSU fans - "hertz donut"
October 22nd, 2023 at 7:47 AM ^
MSU had more pictures of Hitler on their scoreboard than points. Perhaps next year we have donut images for Sparty.
October 22nd, 2023 at 9:47 AM ^
Maybe at meetings of the two schools' administrators or student groups, Michigan should always bring doughnuts.
October 22nd, 2023 at 11:16 AM ^
They got dunked. Maybe the doughnuts did too.
October 22nd, 2023 at 2:30 AM ^
No way this is actually going to be their rock bottom…as always, they lack the perspective and imagination to see what’s still to come. And I love it.
October 22nd, 2023 at 7:49 AM ^
They've been saying all week that Michigan is only undefeated because we have a weaker schedule and haven't played anybody. I wonder if they'll concede that any truth in that sentence remains even more true after yesterday's game.
October 22nd, 2023 at 8:40 AM ^
I will give Sparty credit this year for not being delusional about their team. They know they suck.
October 22nd, 2023 at 9:08 AM ^
They actually think they’re tanking for Urban. Like the worse they are, the more desperate the fan base and school will be to hire another morally bankrupt coach.
October 22nd, 2023 at 9:26 AM ^
Hey, he at least puts his hands on other peoples fun bits! Probably plots his approach.
October 22nd, 2023 at 11:06 AM ^
Wait a minute, you mean the school with the worst record doesn't get to pick first in the coaching carousel at season's end???
October 22nd, 2023 at 3:39 PM ^
Well, when you don't read and are gullible Lemmings...
October 22nd, 2023 at 10:18 AM ^
Don't forget we are also undefeated because we were stealing signals.
I still can't get over the hilarity of their QB running to the sidelines so they could whisper the playcall in his ear. That is an all time moment in fandom history.
October 22nd, 2023 at 10:27 AM ^
Pick six on one. Go get 'em.

I don't always lol at things on the internet, but when I do, I prefer that it is at msu's expense. Thank you, sir.
October 22nd, 2023 at 4:43 PM ^
He also went there to feel safe and healthy.
October 22nd, 2023 at 2:35 AM ^
All they ever wanted was for Michigan to pay attention to them. To focus on them. To hate them as much as they hate us. They poked the bear throughout the Dantonio years and with all the bs with the tunnel incident and their grandstanding with these allegations of sign stealing. They wanted Michigan’s attention and they sure as hell got it.
Be careful what you wish for.
October 22nd, 2023 at 8:34 AM ^
I was glad the commentators actually mentioned this little fact in regard to the Paul Bunyan trophy, MSU was always the one who would parade the trophy around the field like it was the Super Bowl. For over 50 years, when Michigan won, the trophy was always presented in the locker room home or away but never on the field. That's why we've never seen a photo of the likes of Anthony Carter, Jim Harbaugh or Desmond Howard posing with the trophy.
I never remember a time where Bo or Gary Moeller mentioned the trophy. The only time Lloyd ever referenced it was when he would tell the media that the trophy was the ugliest in college football. There was even a time in the 60's when Michigan won in East Lansing and didn't even bother taking the trophy with them back to Ann Arbor. It was left on the field, found by a MSU crew worker and MSU ended up painting the final score on it and saved it for the next year's game.
So your poking the bear statement couldn't be more accurate. When your fan base and school reach THIS level of being insufferable under Dantonio, we're at the point now where every Michigan player wants to pose with Paul Bunyan after victories and parade him around. Be careful what you wish for indeed.
October 22nd, 2023 at 10:01 AM ^
Definitely not the ugliest trophy in college football now though, I present the weird and totally forced Land Grant Trophy
October 22nd, 2023 at 10:45 AM ^
The dreaded CyHawk trophy
October 22nd, 2023 at 11:41 AM ^
I think the original version with just a dude and a kid or 2.
The "pedo corn" trophy wasn't a good look.
October 22nd, 2023 at 10:45 AM ^
The Land Grant trophy is bad.
Still doesn’t beat the Civil ConFlict. Best thing Frost ever did as an HC is when after winning it he left it on UCONN’s sideline
October 22nd, 2023 at 10:35 AM ^
Back before the dark times, I used to tell MSU fans that the difference between UM and MSU was that it was a big deal when MSU won. They’d always get pissed off but it was true.
October 22nd, 2023 at 2:57 AM ^
It can always get worse. Rock bottom will be 2-10 after losing to PSU in front of 20 people in Detroit.
October 22nd, 2023 at 7:30 AM ^
Hey now, Penn State will probably get 50 or maybe 60 fans to Ford Field. I don't know what PSU did to deserve that (other than that crime against football they call an offense).
October 22nd, 2023 at 8:21 AM ^
You really cannot think of anything PSU did to deserve that? Like nothing?
October 22nd, 2023 at 9:38 AM ^
Penn State’s offense reached Iowa levels of incompetence yesterday. How is that possible? An Illinois level of offensive incompetence and they blow the Buckeyes off the field.
October 22nd, 2023 at 11:01 AM ^
Nah, PSU travels pretty well. Plus, tickets are fairly affordable, starting at $40 on Ticketmaster; You can even get into the 100 level for about $70. Prices will probably drop anyhow. And it's indoors so you don't have to worry about lousy weather.
AND, PSU fans will be assured of watching their team deliver a beat-down.
October 22nd, 2023 at 10:25 AM ^
It makes sense why msu and psu play each other rivalry week. They usually battle for 3rd place but PSU could have 3rd locked in well before that last saturday in November.
October 22nd, 2023 at 3:00 AM ^
Sparty is worse than I thought
and that is hilarious
October 22nd, 2023 at 6:13 AM ^
Remember this is the same team and coordinators that Mel Tucker was paid $95 million to put together and these Spartan faces were bragging about. I wish Mel was still coach to feel this humiliation. Maybe jerking his way out was actually the less embarrassing path for him.
October 22nd, 2023 at 7:37 AM ^
That’s funny!
October 22nd, 2023 at 8:18 AM ^
Mel changes nothing, I've been saying since this summer...this MSU team is ASS.
There's no way around it. Call it overconfidence (it wasn't), call it underestimating (it wasn't)...they just aren't a good program. I said 5-7 this year and that is looking shakier by the day.
They should hire Lance Leipold the day Kansas' season ends, but something tells me their search will mirror the dumpster fire of the program.
October 22nd, 2023 at 8:47 AM ^
I think it's not far-fetched to believe that without the Mel drama the team could have been a 4 or maybe even 5 win team.
I also think our game with MSU might have been uglier, both in terms of how much we made sure to put on the scoreboard and how many personal fouls they committed.
October 22nd, 2023 at 8:56 AM ^
What they should do is fire the AD, and hire a guy with a sterling reputation and tell him “enough with this renegade football program. Clean it up, whatever it takes.”
October 22nd, 2023 at 9:45 AM ^
I recommend Dave Brandon.
October 22nd, 2023 at 9:49 AM ^
Then bring in Ed "Straight Arrow" Gennero.
October 22nd, 2023 at 10:40 AM ^
That will never happen. Their athletic director essentially answers to Izzo and there is no way that Tiny Tom is going to let someone change their culture of obsessively hating Michigan.
I mean, Alan Haller was a friggin' campus police officer and HR rep for the athletic department.
October 22nd, 2023 at 10:43 AM ^
They should hire Beilien
October 22nd, 2023 at 9:48 AM ^
Why should Leipold want anything to do with Sparty? The head football coach of Kansas giving MSU the side eye. Hilarious. They think they are a top 25 program? Their big money donors have run for the hills. After being forced to pay Mel most of his money they will be lucky if they can afford to bring in Scott Frost.
October 22nd, 2023 at 10:00 AM ^
Why would the Kansas coach leave a depleted BigXII (Deion will leave for NFL in a year ot two) and instead go be the B team in the state and in a conference where, to get to the conf championship game, you need to be better than all but one of Michigan, OSU, PSU, Wisconsin, USC, Washington, Oregon, and the random popcorn success of Wisky, Iowa, Nebraska and Maryland?
October 22nd, 2023 at 11:10 AM ^
MSU should drop down and become the premier program of the MAC, the MAC leading the MAC, if you will.
October 22nd, 2023 at 10:37 AM ^
I’m Scott’s mom, and I approve this message.
October 22nd, 2023 at 11:25 AM ^
Maybe they'll offer 95 million reasons?
October 22nd, 2023 at 10:28 AM ^
I wish they could have scored 56 or 63 on them. Would have made me laugh even harder and complete my 4 leg parlay. Harbaugh let off the gas in the 3rd quarter.
October 22nd, 2023 at 3:01 AM ^
There was one thread asking why no one broke JJ's knees during the game.
