NFL Refs Fuck the Lions Again

Fuck off, NFL.  I wish I could say that this is unreal but it’s par for the course for the Lions at this point. What a joke.

It ain't just us. Ask the Saints.

The NFL has a real serious problem. And as sports betting becomes legal in more and more states these calls are going to be viewed as fixing. I imagine the NFL will someday soon be the house, accepting bets through an app. Can you imagine being both the house and employing the refs?

I was there on Sunday and it was every bit as bad as what the Lions got last night, just not nationally televised so nobody really saw it.  There were 5 really bad calls, all incorrect, and all massively helped the Seahawks.

Clear TD by Landry overturned on 4th down

Lineman downfield past five yards on a slant to OBJ (ref said lineman faster than OBJ)

Landry called for blindside hit when he was the one being hit and he was trying to avoid it

Holding call on right tackle Hubbard where he never even touched the DL, much less held him

Pass call completed on game winning drive where WR juggled ball going out of bounds and lost it when he fell.

Add in the "roughing the passer" call on Wilson when he was just tackled normally and the "horse collar" personal foul when he was just grabbed by the back of the jersey and I think you'll understand why I TOTALLY get why the Lions fans are so pissed today.  Same rigged game by same rigged officiating crew.

Trust me that was one of the worst officiated games I've seen in years but with that said the worst outcome for the house is all teasers hit because of that. That is huge in a standalone game like a Monday night.

They are not at all tied into who wins on actual Sundays for betting purposes they have zero affiliation with the books and have done everything they could keep them illegal. They do have interest though and matchups as the better matchups creates more interest in more betting

If it was that obvious then Patricia would have and should have thrown the challenge flag.  I do think that it was interference but the ref's could easily disagree with me considering how little contact there was.  Also they were letting hand-fighting go all night for both sides in this one.  Justin Coleman came close once and I remember another instance that was close to PI for the Lions, just not the player.

Pass Interference is far too subjective of a call for me.  The rules need to be more clearly defined and outlined for all to know before this can be something a coach can challenge.

What's crazy is that even though the NFL has put in the replay opportunity for pass interference, they are making it almost impossible to get one overturned. In their feeble minds they have an image to protect and regularly overturning penalties would be admitting they have bad refs. Look at the overturn raito this year, it's miniscule.

Same thing happened last time they were in the playoffs against Dallas.  NFL promotes other teams, not Detroit.

C'mon, man, who do Detroit defenders think they are by using their hands?  But anyway, Detroit had plenty of chances to put that game away early, their offense let them down.  Especially the total lack of run game.
