Personally I don't like…

Personally I don't like weather affecting the game.  I want to see these athletes do what they do best in the best conditions possible.  If it's too windy to throw a pass or too rainy to catch a pass I'm a lot less interested in watching that game.  Other weather conditions apply.

Or is it "Gach" like "botch"?

The Volt was a great car. …

The Volt was a great car.  Shame the demand for it was so low.

It matters in 10 years when they stop making replacement parts for the Bolt.  From what I've been told, if a vehicle goes out of production the manufacturer still has to make replacement parts for the next 8 to 10 years.  The Volt is half way through that cycle.  The Bolt just started.

Slow charging is a concern for all electric vehicles right now.  Personally I don't think the technology is there yet, both in terms of range and charging speed.  If I can't get 400 miles on a single charge I'm not interested in any EV.  Also if I have to wait more than 30 to 45 minutes to go from empty to full charge I'm not interested.  Road trips would take forever in an EV.

As I stated in my previous comment, Chevy is replacing the Bolt with the Equinox EV and the Blazer EV.  Blazer EV is huge btw.  Much bigger than the Bolt.  Equinox EV would be much more comparable in size and price.

I still do.

It was very reliable and got fantastic fuel economy.  Unfortunately the increased price of the truck and the high price of diesel fuel crippled the sales.  That and there wasn't a lot of demand for it anyway.  GM moved on from the engine after that.

It's a great truck if you tow often but not heavy loads.  It's rated for 7700 pounds of towing.

The Bolt/Volt are no longer…

The Bolt/Volt are no longer in production if that sways your decision (Volt not since 2019 if I remember correctly).  Chevy is sticking with their traditional models (Blazer/Equinox) and turning them into all-electric vehicles.  We have a bunch of Blazer EVs on the lot right now and we'll be getting some Equinox EVs in a month or two.

They no longer make a diesel…

They no longer make a diesel Colorado or Canyon.  They're all 2.7L turbo 4cyl engines running on regular gas.

The last time they built a diesel engine in the Colorado/Canyon was 2021 I believe.

Downvoted because the title is extremely misleading though it appears I'm in the minority.  I agree the post was useful but damn that title is misleading (and click-baity) as hell.  Horrible.

Those are some basketball blue bloods there.  I'm not used to seeing Michigan win those battles.

Of course but NIL plays a big role in almost every recruits decision.  It would be naive to think otherwise.

You say that but have you…

You say that but have you seen Michigan's past 2 recruiting classes?  Great guys and some underrated gems but recruiting inside the top 100 has been a nightmare.  Edge recruiting in particular was a constant NIL battle last cycle.

Tschetter is a serviceable…

Tschetter is a serviceable backup 4 and a poor starting 4.  Mostly due to his defense.  1 more player at the 4 is fine.  May has run 4 guard lineups in the past.  Remember that Johnell Davis played the 4 at FAU.

I'm just glad they'll have…

I'm just glad they'll have decent sized gaurds on the team next season.  That alone is a breath of fresh air.

Also, if Nimari sticks around I'm fine with the current rotation 1-3.  He can compete with Rubin Jones and Roddy Gayle at the 2 and 3.  The loser becomes the 6th man.  I'd be fine with that.

OSU, Alabama, and Auburn…

OSU, Alabama, and Auburn were the teams to beat?  Does that mean that NIL is truly rolling now?  Feels like it if he was a take for those schools.

BIG NOON requires a big game.  Texas V Michigan is an obvious choice.  The primetime slot is usually reserved for a 2nd tier game.

Wins in regulation.  Red Wings have 27, Caps have 30.  Red Wings have to win tomorrow and need the Caps to lose.  Luckily the Caps have the tougher game.

It looks a lot like a plausible depth chart to me.  I think we're all safe in making that assumption.

I just saw Brian assumes a…

I just saw Brian assumes a freshman Rooths would displace Nimari Burnett in the starting lineup.  Nimari Burnett is entering his 4th year in college and isn't limited much athletically.  I have to think that May can coach him up enough to where a true freshman won't take his spot in the starting lineup.

UNC won an championship by…

UNC won a championship by getting a guy like Brady Manek from the portal a few years ago.  Manek and Wolf have similar skill sets.  With that in mind, I wouldn't count UNC out.

Not only Quinshon Judkins…

Not only Quinshon Judkins but also a guy he coached back at Oregon, Bucky Irving, came through the transfer portal.  Bucky was certainly not a "soft cookie".  Dude was a stud.

This guy isn't just putting his foot in his mouth, he's shoved in his whole leg up to the pelvis.

His Dad was born and raised in Ohio so its likely that he was, in fact, an OSU fan growing up.  A guy can want to play for Coach K and still be an OSU fan.

Yeah cuz Juju Watkins is…

Yeah cuz Juju Watkins is making half court 3s at a decent clip while averaging 30 points and 10 assists a game.  Also Juju is totally going to be the number 1 scorer in college basketball history, men or women.  Your case is rock solid.

I don't know about adding "minus" to Donovan Edwards.  I'd have kept him at an even level, maybe add a "plus" if you believe the hype after he added 15 pounds.

Not just the late 50s.  I…

Not just the late 50s.  I listened to an episode of Dan Carlin's Hardcore History in which he told the tale of a Japanese soldier that was still fighting the good fight well into the 70s.  I think the actual number was 29 years after the war had ended.  They had to fly his former commander (who was thankfully still alive, working a small office job in Japan) to another country (the Philippines I think) to let him know the war was over.  He wouldn't believe anyone else.

For real.  That spreadsheet is incredible.  So much info and so neatly organized and easy to digest.  Love it.  Wish more insiders did it.

I watched the game film of their K-State win in Dragonchild's diary a week ago.  Vladislav Goldin is a good player.  He's seven feet tall and a great finisher with decent defensive ability.  I have to think May will want him on the team.

If you can go back and capitalize all the mays in that comment and leave the other words uncapitalized you'd really set off the grammar nazis here.  I'd stir the pot.  lol

If Luke Schoonmaker can get drafted as high as the 2nd round then AJ Barner can at least get drafted.  I'm hoping the Lions scoop him up in the fifth or sixth.  I doubt he makes it to the 7th.

The Lions need a blocking tight end with some pass-catching ability since Brock Wright left.  He'd be a perfect fit.

Barner in the 7th round?  Yeesh.  If anyone gets him that late he'll be an absolute steal.
