Kenneth Grant chasing down Kaytron Allen

For me, this moment has to go up there with Branch sacking Morelli. I mean, this is a 340 pound behemoth racing down a running back at full speed.

What were your favorite moments of the game?

Looking back, that was a game-changing play. It was also more surprising than JJ suddenly appearing in the frame in the B1G championship against Iowa on Corum’s long run.

Great topic.. key points / plays.  There were a number that stood out to me - here are a few.

The D stand in the first quarter to limit PSU to a field goal.

Keegan’s (?) recovery of Blake’s fumble in the first quarter.

Grant’s “chase down”, as was noted.

McCarthy’s scrambles for first downs.

Blake and Donovan’s runs - again, as already noted.

One play, series, and game at a time,  Go Blue!

Agreed - both of the two point attempts made no sense.

Think - the PSU D was playing well.  IF PSU kicked the extra point (and made them - instead of going for two) it becomes a one score, seven point game with about two minutes left to play.

Then, an onside kick recovery - three and out - fluke play - PSU would have been in a position to tie the game with a TD and going for two to win, if kicking the PAT for OT.

Superb game management - but, they don’t write about that…

I don't watch sports center anymore but that play is #1 Worthy. Amazing what he was able to do. He is going to put up freak numbers in NFL combine. Harbaugh and his staff are amazing in finding these guys.

One of the best moments for me is Donovan Edwards finally breaking one and taking it to the house for the first time in non-garbage time this year. That's the DON we've been waiting to see!

"I know, I'll stiff-arm this 340 pound train coming at me."

"On second thought, that might break my arm. I think I'll just try to outrun him."

I noticed this live, and was impressed.

I suppose it is similar to the Branch sack because, as NittanyFan (where are ya, bud?) likes to remind us, that play was a first down completion. But I still don't think visual will go down as well over the years as the Branch still photo.

As for what I consider my favorite parts of the game, maybe it's obvious, but the Edwards TD on 3rd and 11 and then second Corum TD after Frames Janklined his way to the loss going on 4th and 6.

The Big Ten commissioner has just announced that Kenny Grant has been suspended two games for violating the laws of physics.  In a statement issued by the conference, the sportsmanship policy was invoked for creating an unfair competitive advantage and placing the opposing players at risk of injury.

Caught the first half of the game during a flight and that play got me a lot of sideways glances as I let out an audible "Damn...." I thought he was gone. Out of nowhere a tank ran him down from behind, sort of just reached out with one hand and crumpled him.

Get out of her with these takes on speed agility determination effort.

Come on. This is yet another example of Michigan stealing signs.

How did Kennth  Grant know that the play was designed to run towards the end zone!!!

I fucking love these guys!

Branch leveling Morelli was memorable but I hate that Penn State actually converted the 1st down on that play.  Oh well, it came at a price.

Corum’s 4th quarter touchdown yesterday allowed me to scream with delight and talk trash to the PSU fans through my TV after being very restrained throughout the game.

The impact of the back up defensive tackles in this game was terrific. Grant making plays but also Benny, being held (as our DTs so often were at the point of attack on those qb runs) and still getting the strip that turned the game.

Huge play in the game.  Saved a TD.  He was fired up with a couple stuffs early and that being the ultimate hustle play.  340lb DT's aren't supposed to be sprinting 40 yards downfield.

That certainly was awesome and it was a wow moment. I’m not giving them a TD on that play as Johnson has him but probably another 10 yards gained. Still not taking anything away from that play. It was impressive how fast that man was moving.
