Two biggest takeaways for me is Z & Mo. JB's teams and offense need a pg. who can play. Weak link early, but Z coming along is huge. This team needs Mo to do his thing on O. Difference between this game and Purdue, clearly Mo. several of our best players have some limitations on O, so Mo needs to bring 20 a game. Great win.

I would just like to remind everyone that less than 1 year ago, on Saturday February 4th, was our home loss to Ohio State. You will remember this as the meltdown game as there were multiple fire Beilein threads on this board. That was less than a year ago. Oh how things change. We’ve got this fun team to watch and one of the best recruiting classes in the nation next year

Is truly one of the best coaches in Michigan basketball history. He is incredibly respected in ever basketball circle. He is one of those coaches that manages to squeeze the most out of his players. Very fun to watch his style of play as well!

I've watched Michigan hoops since Johnny Orr's day, and IMO he's the best we've had.

We used to win with recruiting (at times sketchy) and raw talent, now we win with player development, game strategy, superior execution, and mental toughness. That's coaching.

John Beilein is a fantastic basketball coach.

Three wins in Breslin in the last seven years (and we haven't even played them every year there).  We are lucky to have this man as our coach.

2012 Big Ten champs

2013 Final Four

2014 Big Ten champs / Elite Eight

2017 BTT champs / Sweet 16

Who knows what's in store for 2018?

If we just had stayed healthy in '15 and '16 we could be on a pretty amazing run.

I think there is no question who the best coach at UM is right now and the best basketball coach in the state of Michigan for that matter.

Next time the Blow Hard Sharty fan in the next cubicle crows how great IZZO is remind them that Beilien has the same number of NCAA tournament wins as IZZO since 2011 and we didnt even go in 2015! Beilein IS the REAL MR. MARCH!

on 3 sites for what seems like his entire tenure. He is just such a good guy, such a good teacher, and a great coach. He understands chemistry.

Beilein has always done this. Turn some leftover chicken into really good chicken salad.  It really shouldn't be a surprise at this point.  I mean, the two years he actually had NBA talent parity (at least in the starting 5) with the top 10 blueblood type programs, all he did was go to a national championship and an elite 8, while scorching KenPom AdjO numbers. We all know he schooled Pitino in 2013 and shoulda had that ring.

Imagine if he could've conned an additional year, Izzo style, out of Burke, Stauskas, GRIII, LeVert, Wilson, and McGary, instead of having to redesign new teams with new ingredients each year.  (in the case of Levert and McGary avoiding unfortunate injury and NCAA bs).

Amazing coaching and teaching.
The team looked completely prepared. Never looked shook. And went on the road to beat a Top 5 team.

John Beilein is the best coach Michigan has hired since Bo and Carol Hutchins.
