Green Is so hard to watch when GS wins. Beyond obnoxious
Making of a murderer I feel like I’m watching it every time the refs give the benefit of doubt ALWAYS to LeBron. He’s allowed to get away with murder on both sides of the court
Totally agree Larry Culpepper character was a total doofus and made not sense.
Congrats You’ll really enjoy the father/son relationship. When my son was 9, he became really worried about me while I was in the kitchen eating some type of snack in a bag. I had gone to the doctor just prior to this event, and discovered that I had high cholesterol. My son started screaming “Dad no! Don’t do it!” I put the bag of pretzels down said what’s wrong song? He said “look at the bag, dad, it says it has lots of cholesterol!” I said no it doesn’t. He pointed to a spot on the front of the bag and said “0mg cholesterol means ‘Oh My Goodness, Cholesterol!”

He was dead serious. We laughed so much about that. Enjoy the wonder of your son!
JT Is ranked 8th on a different list of “9th year college students somehow still playing QB at the college level.”
Shea Will be #1 by end of the season ;)
Great topic I know very little about investing, but I have a little in a fidelity fund, most in vanguard fund, and a small annuity.

What advice do the advisors on here give me? Should a diversified fund like vanguard be the main thrust or should I dabble with small amounts in the stock market?

Also, can anyone tell me more about “alternative investments?” I’m hearing about real estate investments that guarantee 8% returns with safety measures built in because the homes have already been purchased or construction has begun. I literally learned of this last week for the first time, but it was given by a CEO of a non profit whom I respect a great deal. Any advice is appreciated. I feel that most advisors locally are just trying to find a way to syphon some fees out of me.
I love your posts You truly are the most interesting man in the world.

1. Blue Moon and Sol
2. Pasta Felour
3. Soccer games all weekend
Life’s too short Especially the tenure of a NCAA basketball coach. If you don’t go for broke, why bother?
Just a public service announcement... Blue Moon Mango flavored beer... no. That is all
Op Make Bolivia great again
You nailed The perfect balance for wife tension. 5ish days per month is about the right maximum for wife missing you without the added resentment. Beyond 5 days...watch out!
Since I dont Get the travel channel at home, I love to binge watch Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. It’s always on that channel.

I realize this sounds dorky, but I’ve found that I end up blowing a lot of cash if I go out. I will often meet up with friends for a beer at the hotel bar, but usually just enjoy the solitude of the hotel room. FYI I’m a husband and father of young children, so solitude is a rarity at home.
If I’m the GOAT And have a supermodel wife next to me, I wear what I want and don’t give a rip about any critics. I would also flash my 5 rings and ask “what have you accomplished?”
I’m hypjn’ Shea should have enough heisman votes to bring the trophy back to Ann Arbor.
It took Our family 6-8 months to get over our puppy who got ran over by my wife. Your new puppy will bond with you, it just takes time. I recall my wife saying “I’m just not feeling it with these puppies, but now (1.5 years later) those new puppies are treated like royalty and get better care than our children.
Domestically Dogs are the best. Cats were created from the OSU Death Star to create havoc and terror in suburban homes.
Since The Dos XX character is fictional....XM is officially the most interesting man in the world.
I want The hockey stick family rodeo story, XM!!
This debate Is pointless. We’ll never know which one was better. They are both transcendent players in their respective nba generations. Both played against high level competition. MJ faced much better defenses, but Lebron faces much better offensive teams. The sport has changed a lot, so this debate is entirely opinion based. Both players have won fair share of championships.
I hope Ultimate frisbee can replace tackle football. It’s the only thing close to the original and yet much faster paced and exciting. Also, the players don’t have to weigh 400 lbs or be 7ft tall to make the team.
This goes with the Fun, party vibe of downtown Nashville. Lewan fits well here. It’s also becoming a bit of a competition for the local football players like Von Miller in Denver showing up at the Avs games and dancing around with a sign in his hand. I think Lewan wanted to up the ante for any NFL players showing up at games of their hockey home teams during the playoffs.
If you know anyone In the B1G geographic footprint willing to share login credentials...that’s one way to fix the problem.

I haven’t tried YouTubeTv but that seems to be a decent fix. Also, I saw that Dish network is now allowing an a la Carte selection of programs on their packages. You might be able to select a package with B1G Network.
Mo Hurst Was just blessed with the Tom Brady chip on the shoulder by getting overlooked round after round in the draft.

My prediction: within 4 years, Hurst will have 2 super bowl rings, be married to a super model who makes more $$ than him, and appear on Saturday Night Live at least once.

Just saying...the new Brady has arrived.
Hopefully not On the UNC/Louisville side of the scale
I have loved these: Justified (prime)
Vikings- prime

The Following- Netflix

Man I’m gonna miss this guy on the court. He’s been such a stable force for UM and has such dynamic skill
The infamous quad-post You, sir, are a hero
Yeah, But kind of awkward to offer thanks to UM as if he’s already been drafted. Would love to have him back, but also happy to see him get paid.
One time I was at a US Men’s soccer friendly held in Nissan Stadium in Nashville. Concessions were short staffed for this special event so lines were very long. While I was in line, the workers started announcing that there was no more alcohol as they ran out. One man became furious and started yelling to the point that police had to wrestle him to the ground, cuff him, and carry him off.

Honestly, why does anyone care much about alcohol. If someone cannot make it through a sporting event without a drink, there might be a problem with addiction. As one poster on this thread pointed out, why would you want to leave the event to pee so often?
Excellent work Very good predictive analysis. I just booked my flight and hotel. The rest of you non-believers will pay a fortune for your doubt!!
Suit as sugar Like my leisure suite
Yes You’ve spent so much time on MGoBlog that you’ve been lulled into a stupor where common sentences make you laugh. It’s one of the unfortunate side effects of this delightful site.... similar to the delightful scent of pipe tobacco still ends in cancer.

You have advanced stage MGoBlogitis. I hope you have long term care insurance, my friend
Mine actually is Peanut M&Ms. they have the perfect balance of sweet chocolate and salty peanut. They are the most perfect candy ever created. Anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong
Super douche Move by Ole miss
Or another “That narcissistic weasel at work who sexually harasses women, complains that everyone is out to get him, and never flushes the toilet.”

“Little Douche Rapist Non-Flusher” to abbreviate it
Why call them little brother? My little brother is nice and encouraging as I am with him. “Brother” implies familial concern and closeness.

Maybe we should change the phrase for Sparty to “Little Prick” or “Little Douche.”
Classy move MacDaddy
Right I kept reading it thinking somehow this will relate back to the primary topic of the thread. Once it ended, I thought “I just lost a few brain cells and may be less intelligent after wasting those precious moments of life on a decade removed story.”

I has fingerz
Wish I was 25 again. I was broke, but good times were had
It’s a stretch To say he shut Brunsen down. Brunsen was not hitting some fairly easy shots in the post. Simpson is an amazing bulldog defender, but we couldn’t seem to slow DiVincenzo down, so one would wonder why Simpson could not switch to Donte to slow his on fire shooting. We defended well all around, but Villanova Villanova’ed us like they have every decent defense.

I dont mean to take anything away from Simpson, but if you can’t shut down a hot shooting guard (Donte), then what’s the point?
Loyola Deserves that 7 spot. They played like animals through the tournament
I’ll take it! Excellent run and exceeded everyone’s expectations
The main strategy That Beilein needs to fix in the off-season is not scouting the bench better, it’s teaching the team how to handle switches on PNR or screens. When Michigan has the ball on offense in nearly EVERY game this season, teams would stall our offense simply by committing to the ball rather than committing to the assigned man. The players will need to learn how to handle that and more zone defenses if we are to succeed in the latter stages of the tournament. Every team we played had the same defense and most games during the tournament we barely won or looked offensively inept in an ugly win.

Plan for switching!
Great run Some on here seem bitter about the loss. It definitely sucks, but I dont think it’s a moral victory to appreciate how far beyond expectations this team achieved this season. As in Brian’s numerous posts, this team was one that didn’t look NIT capable at the beginning of the season.
This team Outplayed their expectations. We should not have been in the championship game, but they clawed their way in through gritty D. Love this mix of players, but more excited for the talent coming in and players like Poole and Matthews playing bigger roles next year.
Sheez Any nba team that doesn’t ounce in that is foolish. Kid looks like the next Steph curry, but more muscular frame and can block and rebound
Op Pretty much spells it out. Refs really sucked, but can’t take anything away from Villanova. They totally outplayed us. Just how it goes sometimes.
No He has nothing left to prove. It’s too difficult to make a NC run in college and he can get paid, so... don’t be upset when he declares
That’s exciting to think about This definitely doesn’t feel like Belein’s last push into the final four and NC
