Isaiah Hole: There are more things to come if the Mob (including Big Ten) don't stop

Michigan just want to end this and move on.. But if the mob continues, we have more.. This is going to go nuclear and commissioner needs to be fired for taking sides (especially, the one side)....

Again, I am not even a Michigan alum but I know the Michigan alum network has more money, influence, and capability and they did not know that they would not do it?

As Isaiah wrote.. This is not the old Michigan who would just oblige... The mobs are dumb to think we are not serious..

Big Ten did it and Michigan responded simultaneously. This is why Big Ten is caught offguard... NCAA stated no known connection with Connor and JH.. Now, Pete Thamel (a journalist? please) was aware of the staffer that had Michigan signs that were being shared between schools..  that staff talked last week and he did NOTHING...

So know we know he is a yellow journalist.. And Michigan still has more.... So I am getting some popcorn...

Michigan does not have a judge “on speed dial.” If they have to sue then I imagine they will need to file the case in U.S District Court and they will get a randomly-assigned judge who may or may not be sympathetic to their claims and in any event will do things on his or her own timeline. Federal judges tend to be quirky egomaniacs and many are unpredictable AF. Michigan appears to have an excellent case, but trying to resolve this situation without resort to the janky-ass civil legal system is absolutely the right move.

The better question I ask the mob is don't they know the Michigan has better resources, talent, and capabilities that goes beyond the field and classroom? I am not a Michigan alum but I know this..

Ohio State is a good school academic-wise but no where near close to Michigan.. The mob really think they going to outsmart Michigan with this approach... I tell myself... Never poke the bear nor bring a knife to a gunfight...

Combination of many things.

1. Jim Harbaugh is a good coach, the players love him, and the team generally has players of high character

2. Stallions looks to have acted alone and Michigan had to have the evidence for this in-hand

3. The rule broken in questions is dumb and of little to no value. With the knowledge that programs are actively acting as each-other's in-person scouts and providing intel on Michigan's signs, this is effectively a wash competitively

There's a very good argument that the rules were broken and that a punishment should be levied. There is not a good argument that a meaningful competitive advantage was gained, or that this type of isolated action by one staff member should effectively cost this man's job. If he was aware of it, covered it up, encouraged it, or in some other way assisted, or if Stallions felt comfortable enough to expand his operation to others on the staff (indicating that this type of behavior was acceptable in the program) this would be different.

I'm not an insider, nor do I pretend to be.  My good friend used to work for the AD and I used to get updates from him....some may recall I was one of the first to report that the Covid season was not happening for the B1G and that UM was one of the main universities pushing back on it. Eventually that changed, but he was my source and how I knew it would be a fucked year months before hand.

Anyways, he no longer works there but is well connected and I can share only this.  Again, this isn't a "trust me bro", he's always been a reliable source and hasn't had much info since he left, but per his contacts still there...

UM essentially has a dossier on other programs in the B1G and they are going to go scorched earth here.  That dossier was there forever when he worked there, and they always joke, "in case of emergency, open binder" Ono and Harbaugh are beyond disgusted with the hypocrisy and find it absurd that it has gone this far in the media, given the stuff the B1G and the NCAA has buried for teams in the past, including sign "stealing" being common practice in the conference..  OSU has by far the most dirt (plenty from the Urban years), but still today even in NIL years as they are paying for visits.

If UM goes scorched earth, this will get nasty...and as he says....all the other programs combined don't add up to 10% or the dirt and infractions that have gone on at OSU.

I am waiting for the nuke to be drop on Columbus Monday before the game.

The only problem I see is that other members of conference don't want to stop as they want Buckeyes being destroyed too. But seriously I don't see any school could've done bigger crime than what Penn State did for Jerry.

Yeah I'm wondering if Michigan has enough evidence to get Igbinosun ruled ineligible for the rest of the season. We were both trying to bring him in as a transfer, he was familiar with Partridge, then all of the sudden commits to OSU. I think there might be something there.

Yeah I don’t get why they would stop. Especially if it involves future opponents (looking at you Ohio State). Make them have to deal with the same distractions we’ve had to. If anything it’s gamesmanship. And if the practice footage stuff is true definitely release that regardless.

They kind of need it now. There is a potential suspension and overall the narrative is the football program is full of cheaters and no accomplishment is legitimate. They don't need to put everything out there, but I'd say an eye for an eye at this point. Leaks came for 3 weeks so leak for the next 3 or whatever. They can't just put out one release and then stop because the scales are tipped so far in one direction right now.

IMO to restore the reputational damage to the university and Harbaugh. Maybe releasing dirt on other programs doesn’t raise their reputation but it certainly drags others down into the mud. I don’t want to hear about how Michigans championship was tainted for the next 26 years as I’ve heard Michigan’s last championship was only 1/2 of a championship for the previous 26 years.

If you had asked me a year ago if I could ever foresee a scenario where we would essentially have fight a civil war with our own athletic conference, one that we helped found, no less, I would have chuckled.

But here we are today.

We didn’t help found it, we did found it as a charter member in 1896. Moreover we are the oldest program in the Big Ten of the original members and the oldest of the Blue Blood programs period. So when others claim they are the OG we actually are.

In 1907 we were kicked out by a vote of the other members for not obeying a rule related to playing more than 5 games per season and 3 years of eligibility for players. So this is not new. These sniveling little turds set a precedent for this petty crap more than a century ago because they couldn’t compete back then. Lo and behold what have we here? History doesn’t repeat itself but it rhymes.

Information, Greg, it's like a bottle of fine wine. You store it, you hoard it, you save it for a special occasion, and then you smash someone's fucking face in with it.
