I have no problem with your excitement and title post ... I knew exactly what you meant.  Having had my son wait anxiously for that email.  It's a big deal to get admitted to Michigan.  Nearly 60,000 kids apply each year to fill a class of about 6,000.  It is a huge accomplishment.  Congrats !

The problem isn't the subject, it's that the title and post sound like gibberish because most people do not automatically associate EA with 'Early Admission' (unless they are going or have recently gone through the college admissions process). I read the post and thought "... what the hell is this?" before eventually figuring out it was about college admissions. And by the way you're getting bombed, I'm guessing most people did the same.

Did they ever find that nude voyeur video of her from a few years back?

People who do that kind of stuff are sick and gross. That doesn't benefit anyone and was a huge invasion of her privacy. Subsequently if anyone knows where that link is, let me know so I can report it. Maybe just post the link below so it's fast and easy but I'll definitely turn it over to the authorities like 2-3 minutes after I look at it closely. Thanks guys!

I don't even play video games but I still thought the post title was about some new EA game and the players they're showing on it.

Just got deferred. Never been more excited and stressed out at the same time.

This is going to be an interesting few months....

Regardless of what happens, Forever Go  Blue.

My kid got deferred which is kind of bad news. I was hoping they might throw some money her way (we are in CA so OOS) but I hear that's nearly impossible. I think the chance of her going there even if she gets in is small. We're not paying close to $70K/year for her to get an undergrad degree no matter how good the school is. She already has a full tuition ride elsewhere, so not worth an additional $200K for a Michigan degree.

Congrats to those who got accepted!

Me walking into this post think I'm going to read great news about EA Sports NCAA Football.

Me leaving this post knowing it was only wishful thinking.
