Interesting he was a "pass…

Interesting he was a "pass rush specialist" when I saw him plenty of times running with WR's in coverage on obvious passing downs.

Trust me, they will love…

Trust me, they will love them some OSU fans long time if the dollars right.

Do bagmen, online classes,…

Do bagmen, online classes, or the weather have anything to do with Michigan's basketball success?  Just curious.

Yes, online classes make…

Yes, online classes make recruits better.  This is clearly why Michigan players are underachieving. This is why our 5*'s look like "eh" players on the field.

Having to attend classes just makes it harder for players to have free time.  Just ask Shea.

Three-star recruits who will…

Three-star recruits who will never go the NFL will love those trips abroad.  The elite 5*'s who will compete/win NC's and make millions in the NFL can go on their own time during the offseason.

Keep pushing the goalpost a…

Keep pushing the goalpost a little further out.  I'm sure we'll be scratching our heads in 2021 saying 2022 or 2023 will def. be the year for Harbaugh to figure this out.

Well, look at what Harbaugh…

Well, look at what Harbaugh did at Stanford 10 years ago.  He's a top 5 winning % coach in the NFL.  Look at everything he's done in the past.

Harbaugh is only still here because he played for Bo.

There are plenty, but these…

There are plenty, but these people get negged to Bolivia for daring to step off the group-think mantra around here.

This years class from the state of Michigan has been the best in many years.  What happens when Michigan losses out on a majority of them?  Just go back to MA and CT?

Recruit mentions Michigan in…

Recruit mentions Michigan in is group of teams to visit and now he's destined to comitt.  Where have you been the last few years?  Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

The fanbase here spent the…

The fanbase here spent the past two years saying 2021 is the year where Michigan is going to start zeroing in all those elite talents. Once Speed in Space was implemented, our product will have recruits chomping at the bit to play in such a great offense.

Now.....the top player in the state is trending towards OSU.  So where are these elite recruits?

Fantasy land here on the blog

So Harbaugh is going to be…

So Harbaugh is going to be bringing in that elite class in 2022?  I thought this was the year...

If the AD is having problems…

If the AD is having problems selling season tickets for this year, wait until 2021!!

Naw, I clearly understood…

Naw, I clearly understood what they said.  I added additional facts to the age-old question: What the hell is Harbaugh doing?

Didn't Michigan have eleven…

Didn't Michigan have eleven players get invites to the NFL Combine?  Only LSU (16) had more players.  Hell, OSU had 11.

How can that be?  How does a team go 9-4 and accomplish nothing get eleven players invited to the Combine?  Something doesn't make sense here.

What am I missing here?

Bo probably didn't approve…

Bo probably didn't approve of them.

This season will tell us…

This season will tell us everything we need to know about Harbaugh, the offense and the QB play.  If this team is anything like last year's team, this program will never get over the hump.  At least not as long as Harbaugh is running the show.  6 years should be plenty of time.

I'm sure the Harbaugh apologist are already creating their new excuse for the failures.

Wilton Sp8 and the fourth…

Wilton Sp8 and the fourth quarter offense was to blame for that loss, not the defense.

Maybe we should question…

Maybe we should question their judgment on who are the best players and who isn't.

Example: Glasgow playing DT against Wisky is bad judgment.

Exactly.  Michigan has been…

Exactly.  Michigan has been hauling in some great skill players.  Harbaugh has just criminally underutilized them.

We need to recruit better QB's, CB's and DL.

If Shea was clearly the…

If Shea was clearly the better QB then we have more problems then what is being led on.

Alabama scored 35 points on…

Alabama scored 35 points on Michigan with their 3* back-up QB.  Michigan had all their weapons and 5* QB and managed 16.

You help the defense by moving the ball and scoring points.  Instead, Harbaugh relies on eating the clock to win the game.  It's the ultimate conservative game plan.  This Speed In Space offense had zero tempo.  Never put the defense on their heels with Speed.  Here you have Gattis talking about how you no longer win by just winning upfront, but you have to win with your QB and skill players. I can't think of two polar opposite mindsets than Harbaugh and Gattis.  How does this work?

I'm not trying to defend Brown and his Defense, because they have plenty of problems, but they've shown up far more than the Offense has.  Don Brown has won more close game than Harbaugh and his offense.

Do we know if Harbaugh has…

Do we know if Harbaugh has been spending all his offseason on the golf course this year?  Seems like he should be hitting the coaching clinics and learning a thing or two

Don't forget the fumbles

Don't forget the fumbles

I would hardly compare Jim…

I would hardly compare Jim Harbaugh to Hulk Hogan.

Maybe a Brock Lesner.  All hype, but little in the means of skills or accomplishments

But we destroy everyone in…

But we destroy everyone in the MA crootin grounds.  Why don't we get hype for that?

I actually think Brett…

I actually think Brett Bulimia would be a pretty good hire for MSU.  Brett is a college coach.  He did a fantastic job in Wisconsin.  Arkansas was a failure, but that program isn't going to win in that conference and in that division.

Brett signs a contract spending 2-3 years of building up MSU and bounces to a better job.

You're not allowed to say…

You're not allowed to say those things around here.  When in doubt, blame the refs for everything.

I think there has been prior…

I think there has been prior confusion on what Matty D actually does or doesn't.  I do know that the Recruiting Dept. has taken some serious hits this off-season.  They seem to be behind (go-figure) from other programs when it comes to showing off the recruits and wowing them.

But with much of Harbaugh and his stagnant approach, I don't expect Matty D to go anywhere anytime soon.

I don't know if OSU needs an…

I don't know if OSU needs an elite RB when their offensive dominance predicates everything.  OSU has a top-notch OL and pushes whoever they want.

Yeah, we didn't need a…

Yeah, we didn't need a former NFL Safety possibly teaching our Safeties how to play.  Not like our Safeties haven't been underwhelming or anything.

Plus, Bush had a pretty good HS team and appeared to be a recruiting asset if given the chance.

Drummond essentially had no…

Drummond essentially had no value.  I'm surprised the Pistons were able to get what they could.  Especially surprised that they would make the trade with someone in their division.

Oh Let's Do It!!

Oh Let's Do It!!

JB couldn't lead this team…

JB couldn't lead this team to a tourney if he was still around.

I think Jim Harbaugh exceeded all expectations in year one.  From where Hoke finished off his tenure, you wouldn't have thought 10 wins in year one for Harbaugh. However, after four years, the glow of Harbaugh has clearly worn off.

Howard on the other hand still has this glow around him still.  That will not go away, even if this team doesn't make the tourney.

Let's talk after year 2.

Michigan's play on the court…

Michigan's play on the court will not persuade recruits.  They are smart enough to recognize the lack of talent on the current roster and the possibility of playing immediately.

It's year one for Howard so he gets more leeway.

This isn't like Harbaugh and football.

Easy there, Joe Dumars. …

Easy there, Joe Dumars.  This is a wish list.  I don't care if it works or not.

BTW, Drummond is not getting more money by opting out.  No one will pay him that.

Get rid of Drummond for a…

Get rid of Drummond for a second round pick if that's all they can manage.

Snell, Galloway, Rose, Jackson, and Morris should all be sent packing.  Not that I dislike them, but they have no worth to the Pistons in the rebuild, save Rose.

Acquire as much draft assets and young talents as you can.

There are plenty of 3* DT's…

There are plenty of 3* DT's that have some size that could be brought in as projects.  Harbaugh/Brown love their project players.

We appear to have scholarships available for nepitoism, so why can't we have scholarships for projects?

Livers isn't going to make…

Livers isn't going to make Wagner stop chucking up air-ball threes or help him make layups.  He's not going to help Teske play to his fullest potential rather than being utterly useless on the court.

Let's face it, this team lacks overall talent.  When Davis is arguably your best player, in probably the biggest game of the year for Michigan, you know you're in serious trouble.

Has Michigan been working on…

Has Michigan been working on any of the outstanding recruits or did they stand pat with what they have?  With the glaring needs at DT, I find it hard to believe the staff is satisfied with that current position.

MSU is a dumpster fire right…

MSU is a dumpster fire right now.  Fickell would be wise to stand pat and wait for another opportunity.  It's not like he has ties to the university anyways.

The seel was broken, so I…

The seel was broken, so I could only imagine how long Simpson was standing there, pissing away, smiling at management.

Naw, I hear ya.  If the…

Naw, I hear ya.  If the rumors of him pissing on a wall are true, can you really have a set time frame for suspension?  That's one hell of the thing to explain to your coach.  I probably would have laughed a little bit if I have Howard.

It's a personal and team…

It's a personal and team matter.  I don't think we fans should be privily to know of the mistake that Simpson made.

Keep it under wraps.  Move on.

I hardly would call Arkansas…

I hardly would call Arkansas and UCLA "a powerhouse OOC team".  How soon can we expect the Texas series to be canceled and replaced with Akron?

I would rather the program…

I would rather the program go out and play against teams that bring excitement to the fanbase and show a willingness to play against good competition then watch UConn.  The Harbaugh supporters have voiced their opinions that we will never beat OSU nor compete for NC's, so what does 11-1 get us compared to 9-3 while playing a home and home vs PAC-12 teams?  In the end, both scenarios provide us with beat downs to OSU and no NC.  At least make it entertaining.

But if you'd rather be the Kansas St of the 2000s with Bill Snyder, fine.  I just don't see much joy in it.

So we'll just have an empty…

So we'll just have an empty suit of a resume every single year.

Sounds familiar.

So Michigan gets slammed by…

So Michigan gets slammed by OSU, finishes 11-1, no conference title, and you think Michigan gets into the Playoff still?  I doubt that.  They couldn't contend with a pretty good Florida team.

So what if ND exposed our weaknesses.  That's actually a good thing so you can fix it during the week.  How do you know if your DB's aren't up to par on hail mary passes if your DLine is eating up an inferior OL and getting to the QB nearly every play?  (Yes, I would rather have had the win though.)

Michigan hardly ever uses cupcake games as valuable time for the back-ups.  Why do you think DCaff and Milton are such unknowns.  We piss the cupcake games away, or we get back up's in to hand the ball off.  I don't know what the QB's have to learn from that experience.

If Michigan is trying to compete with the best you have to play the best.  UConn, Hawaii and Colorado St do not get us there.

If my self-esteem was…

If my self-esteem was predicated on Michigan athletics, I would have gladly joined Kobe on his helicopter.

I'm on the opinion that…

I'm on the opinion that scheduling better teams early helps your team in the long run.  Michigan will most likely plow through these teams with ease, but questions of how good they truly are wont be answered until later in the schedule.

How does blowing out three OOC teams help you when you're at Madison and it's tied in the fourth quarter?  Growth and experience are nowhere to be found.  That's what I don't like about it.  Sure, take the easy wins, but they really don't help you.
