Who has better winS than Iowa State!?  They should be a top-10 team if the committee is so gung-ho on wins versus losses.  Man if not for that stupid loss to Iowa they should've won, they're looking down the barrel at a top 5.  Crazy.

Not surprised by the rankings. Osu will need help even if they win the B1G. Clemson, Notre Dame and Oklahoma are all getting in over Osu provided they win out.

About right except for Clemson. That's a hangover pick in my opinion. OSU should probably be #4, just because right now I think they beat OU handily. And ND feels like a placeholder, but maybe they are this good and they'll stay in it. I look at their schedule and they beat the crap out of some good teams.

That's true, but looking at their seasons since that game, I think OSU has played far more consistently and, frankly, better.  If both teams win out I think they should get in over the loser of the SEC title game (assuming that's between two undefeated clubs), but OU feels like they peaked in that game and OSU has simply looked more the part of a playoff team since.

Wow, look at Zona and the fightin' Rich Rods at #22!  I will be more impressed if they beat USC in LA on Saturday.  It's not a likely victory for the Wildcats but that will be a fun game to watch.  ESPN at 10:45pm eastern.

Dang I guessed a near perfect top ten except I misplaced TCU.  Oh well.

Definitely no respect yet for Wisconsin or Miami.  But I think that's warranted and both teams have a good chance of losing one or more games down the stretch.  Neither has been impressive.

JT was all-world in beating PSU. Yet, I am setting you up for the ultimate failure at the Big House. Get ready for a red-shirt frosh to light-up a suspect OSU secondary. The Game is never, ever normal. Shit happens and UM is out to spoil the Buckeye season. Go Blue !

At the end of the day, who really cares if Michigan is unranked and LSU is ranked. Is 19 really going to get that much better of a bowl or that many more recruits for a major program like Michigan? Can anyone remember who was ranked 19 last week let alone last year? Anything outside of the top 10 is irrelevant, so let's quit complaining and instead hope our team progresses and makes it to where we're actually complaining that they should be in the playoff or not.

I understand, but that's not really the point. The point is there is an sec bias and it may not matter to us now, but at some point it'll screw us or someone else big time.
If Georgia and Alabama play in sec title game, both undefeated, don't be surprised if they both end up in the playoff.

Who is there signature win ? ND who is a dumpy team with no other singature win. MSU? That will be exposed by loses to OSU and PSU. The Bulldogs have a BS schedule. Alabama will smoke them by 3 TDs in the SEC championship if UG gets that far.

Why the shit are people bitching about teams ranked ahead of UM at 20-25? What is the point? Only top 4 matters. Not sure why they even give out more than 5 or 6.

This is no different than the BBall Committee. It's a revenue generated idea. Accept it. MSU always gets an easy bracket and the SEC and OSU will always be given grace.

Wisconsin is undefeated. TCU lost to...wait for it...Iowa State. Yet TCU ahead of Wisconsin. Sorry, all credibility and faith in this system is lost on me. Seems like a random, biased grab of teams the committee “likes because their uniforms are cool.”

I need one of the mods to explain why my account was banned just for changing my username to trump. 100,000+ points down the drain just because my username didn’t fit your liberal agenda?

Here are some other items of note.

Florida State and Utah are absent from the CFP poll for the first time. Only three teams have been ranked in every CFP poll -- Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State.

Miami (YTM), Iowa State, Central Florida, NC State and Arizona are in the CFP Poll for the first time.
