Donovan Edwards coming back!
GREAT NEWS! Obviously! He showed in the championship game that he hasn’t lost it. Let’s see him have a big senior year!

Booooom

Went The Room.
January 15th, 2024 at 11:36 AM ^
The QB room. Orji and DE in backfield could be kinda crazy to defend.
January 15th, 2024 at 11:43 AM ^
And Mullings!!!!
January 15th, 2024 at 12:31 PM ^
Wishbone. And all 3 of them can throw, too!
I believe Edwards and Mullings have both completed more passes than Orji.
January 16th, 2024 at 8:49 AM ^
Maybe we can rehash the Mad Magicians.
January 15th, 2024 at 9:16 PM ^
Other than the championship game, thought Mullings should have been the number 2. He's such a hard runner and finds holes better than the Don. I'm glad we will have both next year!
January 15th, 2024 at 11:41 AM ^
Ginormous
January 15th, 2024 at 12:00 PM ^
Bigly
January 15th, 2024 at 10:44 AM ^
Atta boy, Donovan!
January 15th, 2024 at 10:45 AM ^
THE DON
January 15th, 2024 at 11:52 AM ^
BIG GAME DON!
January 15th, 2024 at 10:46 AM ^
Team guy all the way...roll it back
January 15th, 2024 at 11:54 AM ^
Those who stay will be champions… AGAIN!
January 15th, 2024 at 10:46 AM ^
Awesome!! I think he's going to have a huge senior year.
January 15th, 2024 at 10:57 AM ^
Those who stay again will be Champions again. Or something. (Some people have a way with words, others not have way.)
January 15th, 2024 at 11:39 AM ^
OMG you're as old as I am. That's a Steve Martin reference from the 1970s.
January 15th, 2024 at 11:43 AM ^
I once saw him perform at Pine Knob back in the day after he had just become big. He was a hilarious comedian before getting into acting. His comedy albums from the 70's are classics.
January 15th, 2024 at 11:55 AM ^
He also plays a mean banjo!
January 15th, 2024 at 11:48 AM ^
Maybe he's going to go visit the Turd Museum???
January 15th, 2024 at 11:10 AM ^
Heisman worthy next year.
January 15th, 2024 at 11:52 AM ^
This can’t be serious.
January 15th, 2024 at 10:46 AM ^
Whew, some great news to help lift the mood this cold ass monday morning.
January 15th, 2024 at 10:46 AM ^
Getting The Don back was Huge.
Still stressed about QB and HC right now.
January 15th, 2024 at 10:49 AM ^
Donovan can play QB:
January 15th, 2024 at 10:54 AM ^
Not can...does!
January 15th, 2024 at 11:02 AM ^
Pair him with Orji and Mullings back there for the three-QB look.
January 15th, 2024 at 11:42 AM ^
Good thing that Rose Bowl pass to JJ was backwards or it would have mightily impacted his DSR
January 15th, 2024 at 10:49 AM ^
Only reason to be stressed about HC is if Harbaugh leaves AND takes BOTH Minter and Moore with him. I'm totally fine if 1 of those 2 gets promoted into the head job, should Harbaugh go to the NFL.
January 15th, 2024 at 10:57 AM ^
I think he'll take Minter, in this scenario. Moore will be the new head coach, I feel.
January 15th, 2024 at 11:42 AM ^
Lance Leipold or (yes, I'm going to say it) Pete Carroll are sort of obvious candidates if all three are gone and/or are passed over. And for QB, that kid out of MSU (NTMSU) (well, "NTMSU" means "YTMSU"=Sparty so NTMSU=Miss State) is a free agent; the Kansas kid hasn't portaled (yet) (and, "everyone portals"), etc. So just r-e-l-a-x, it'll all work out. We won the Natty... cupboard is stocked... coaches will line up for this.
January 15th, 2024 at 1:43 PM ^
Pete Carroll is 72 years old and got chased out of the NCAA to the NFL after burgers all around at USC. I don't think he's a good fit for Michigan. Need someone younger with potential to stay 10+ years.
January 15th, 2024 at 1:52 PM ^
If JH leaves, I think we just promote Sherrone to HC and try our best to keep Minter. If that happens I don't think we miss a beat next year
January 15th, 2024 at 10:49 AM ^
EDIT: dirty double post
January 15th, 2024 at 10:51 AM ^
I'm worried about HC as well. Losing Barrett is tough
January 15th, 2024 at 12:23 PM ^
Barrett just turned down the Chargers, so I guess JMFH is in play….
January 15th, 2024 at 10:54 AM ^
For once in my fandom I truly believe everything is going to be ok.
January 15th, 2024 at 11:43 AM ^
avatar does not check out
January 15th, 2024 at 10:57 AM ^
I think we will be fine in the short term (at least) with Moore. Hopefully we can find a replacement for Minter, assuming he goes with Harbaugh. Quarterback is the big question mark for next year.
January 15th, 2024 at 11:08 AM ^
If Harbaugh goes and takes Minter with him, does that mean we lose the feeder line from Baltimore? Hopefully not - I kinda like having John providing DC's...
January 15th, 2024 at 11:12 AM ^
Hopefully there is another McDonald/Minter clone who is coming up the pipeline.
January 15th, 2024 at 11:22 AM ^
Or it means we have two feeder lines instead of just one.
January 15th, 2024 at 12:19 PM ^
Never even thought of that possibility. But you’re right bc there’s zero chance that either Jim or Jesse will just abandon Sherrone to his own devices.
Bonus points for Sherrone if he can mimic Jim by calling to tell Shanahan that he needs his offense.
January 15th, 2024 at 10:47 AM ^
Phew!
January 15th, 2024 at 10:48 AM ^
All Big Ten wide receiver in 2024
Just kidding. Maybe
January 15th, 2024 at 10:52 AM ^
He probably could be =)
I'd just be happy if they didn't try to play/coach him like a bruiser back. He's most effective when he's bouncing around the pile instead of muscling thru it. "Speed in space" isn't really wrong...
January 15th, 2024 at 11:09 AM ^
I mean... Dude would instantly be the go-to WR in that room... Both for possessions and as the deep threat we haven't had in a decade!
January 15th, 2024 at 11:56 AM ^
A position switch for him would be smart. I don’t think he has an NFL future as a RB.
January 15th, 2024 at 12:22 PM ^
Nope. But I could 1000% see him thriving in a Deebo Samuel type role. Never understood the Deebo chatter for Henning when Dono was right there.
