The quarter zip under the blazer that he wore to the NC celebration looked like it would be extremely hot. Big fellas get sweaty I know from experience so I don't wear that many layers
He may have been burnt out, but he may be ready to coach again. I'm not saying he will, but he reportedly showed interest in the WVU job. His comment on the BTN about UM basketball shows that he still has some ownership in the program. Maybe.....
It was considered a good hire at the time. He universally lauded as a potential homerun hire. He was pursued by the Lakers during one off season. Maybe he should be coaching in the NBA vice NCAA. I get it now with hindsight it was a horrible hire.
Not sure I'd put Bush in the bust category. He got off to a solid start is rookie season, then he suffered a major knee injury. As you stated, undersize with speed. Losing the speed hurt his ability to do what he did.
I think somewhere in the 5th - 7th. His biggest issue is that running backs that aren't dynamic are a low priority in the NFL these days. His lack of speed will hurt.
I think whoever drafts him will have a great change of pace back, but I just don't see someone making him RB one right away.
I think his pass catching against Bama was great to have on tape, since he was really utilized in the passing game before that.
So, first off, Michigan ticket holders -- do better.
Well, if you have tickets and you can sell them and enjoy a beautiful Sunday without seeing your favorite team play an embarrassing brand of basketball who are you to judge them to "do better"
OMG I'm so sick of people comparing the two. It has been in steady decline. Howard is more like Hoke not Harbaugh. Every year has been worse than the year before.
MichighanNation2 blocked me when I pointed out that he was wrong about JJ and Harbaugh announcing their return at the NC ceremony. And that was only one thing of many things he was wrong about.
6. I'm a Steelers first Lions second fan. I really do not care about the Chargers. JH doesn't change that. I didn't care how he was with the 49ers. I cared about his team when he was coaching UM.
The only other teams that I really care about how they perform is me hoping that every team from the state of Ohio and the city of Chicago have crappy teams in every sport at every level.
Transfer portal has nothing to do with the semester. You can enter the portal, and even commit to another school, but not actually leave until the semester is over.
Targeting would not be a thing. Just make it a personal foul, 15 yard penalty without all the replays and keep the player in the game. And certainly do not make them miss the first half of the next game. Stupid.
I decided to take that approach after the 2020 season. I would watch 2021, but be more casual and not get so into every little outcome during the game. Then 2021 started out positive. Beating Wisc on the road and I got pulled in a little more. Then the fun game at Nebraska at night. Pulled me in more. Then OSU and I was right were I left off.
I'm still going to try not to live and die by every game, but I know that if UM beasts Texas in game two I will be sitting on the edge of my seat.
Imagine you are the coach of a team and at the end of every season every player on your team is a free agent. Yeah, that's what college coaches are dealing with right now.
I've said since all the realignment that we will soon have an AFC/NFC type model in college football with only the B1G and SEC surviving and making two super conferences that will form an NFL style playoff.

Just that easy
There is no shame in an 8 seed losing to a 9 seed. It's basically a pick em game..
True though
You can get a DUI on a bike
Jedd Fisch
Don Brown
Georgetown fired legend Patrick Ewing
St John's fired legend Chris Mullins
And I dare say the were both bigger legends as players at their schools than Juwan is at UM.
Nope you have to fire him. It has to be a firing to send a message. A soft landing shows weakness and that ineptitude is tolerated
As a hater of all teams Chicago and Ohio in every sport, ort I hope the Bears crap franchise stays far away from JJ.

Hopefully players committed to JH don't decommit, but that happens during coaching changes. Hopefully there is a coaching change.
Am I the only person that thinks if Juwan wasn't a part of the Fab 5 he'd already be fired?
I hate the 2min warning
This was about the 5th "rock bottom" of the season

My wife's grandmother, uncle and mom all died of colon cancer all at the age of 62. She gets a colonoscopy every other year.
I have one done every 5 years, with no family history of it. Still get it done.
Why does everyone assume he's leaving? Has he said anything about leaving? Maybe he grows from this and wants to get a UM degree.

JJ to the Steelers would be great
That assist pass by Larkin was beautiful.
Exactly. Detroit was widely mocked for choosing Dan Campbell but look how good that "bad idea" has worked out.

True, but let's look at what they did to correct that:
UNC: #10 in the country
Kentucky: #17 in the country
Duke: #8 in the country
UConn: #1 in the country
All of these teams had coaches that were willing to make changes and adjust and look they are thriving.
I'm not afraid to say I was wrong. Shit happens. I also thought JH would return.
That was me. Seemed at the time he was saying goodbye. I was wrong
I doubt it. He's a strong veteran voice in the room but he's not a starter IMHO.
I'm celebrating the NC until September. That's when the new season starts and eventually a new champion will be crowned. Heck, it may be UofM again.
HAPPY FRIDAY

When people learn to respect life that's when it will end.
Mine was deleted because I was a second or two behind this one, but my title was much better.
I wonder what is taking so long to have an official announcement of Wink being the DC? Or did I miss it?

Not sure what this has to do with UM's offseason. I prefer Campbell over Sheridan as the OC.
Even with one year left you either have to fire or extend or recruiting is dead.
Well I hope for them he's more Harbaugh than Howard. But in reality I hope he's more Howard when UM plays them.
This is the lowest my interest has been in a long time.

And if it's working, great, but if not, that's when the HC has to step in and say nope, don't do it.

RIP Toby. One of my favorite 90's country singers.
Didn't Partridge's dismissal say he could never work at UM again?
I just saw that. Interesting pick if true. Worry about lack of recruiting since he's been in the NFL since 2005.
He won't play for 2 years.
Heard Jim Nagy on the radio say that Wilson was slightly dinged up on the sideline one handed catch.
This has been expected since Moore said he probably wouldn't call plays and had a good idea of who would.
I think it's a great hire. Not sure why everyone's first reaction is "what happens with Hart".
