I’m grateful for the FFFF at this point. Looking forward!

I would rather have a new Opponent Watch (BiSB, Heiko, whoever) than UFR, personally (and I like UFR, fwiw).
November 9th, 2023 at 5:36 PM ^
Not only that, but it looks like we finally got rid of those gawdawful Trustage ads! If that's all the powers that be accomplished after signgate, I'd have to say they had a good week.

Tweet from @mgoblog at 2:48pm EST today:
UFR going to be this evening. Sign stuff ate the ol' life

You have uncovered one of the many reasons that I hate what Elon Musk has done to Twitter. I do not have (and do not want) a Twitter account. Brian and Seth usually use Twitter to alert us to delays or changes to the usual posting schedule. But now that chronological feeds hide behind a login, Twitter is even more useless because I cannot find current updates on Brian's and Seth's (or others') feeds.
November 9th, 2023 at 4:33 PM ^
I 95% co-sign this sentiment, but there is at least a small part of me that is kinda grateful that I'm now less incentivized to look at Twitter
November 9th, 2023 at 4:35 PM ^
Elon is systematically destroying twitter bit by bit for some reason. His latest idea is to get rid of Hashtags.
Maybe he's planning a big tax write off for the next time he sells a bunch of Tesla stock.
November 9th, 2023 at 4:38 PM ^
He's not systematically doing anything. He's just an idiot.
November 9th, 2023 at 4:46 PM ^
I stumbled across a twitter 'reader' site that shows things chronologically: nitter.net/"insert twitter handle here" I used to have twitter but deleted it a few years ago. I use nitter to check the folks I still like to keep tabs on. It's a bit clunky, but it works.
*edited to add* Nitter also allows you to see replies which you can't see on Twitter if you don't have an account.

That’s billionaire idiot to you and I
November 9th, 2023 at 7:07 PM ^
I can't help but think that the Netflix movie "Glass Onion" is at least a little bit based on Elon.
November 9th, 2023 at 4:43 PM ^
Trust the Plan! It will be gorgeous.
November 9th, 2023 at 4:51 PM ^
So you're saying he's the Petitti of Twitter
November 9th, 2023 at 5:14 PM ^
There are two separate feeds - For You and Following. I've found the Following feed to be basically chronological.
November 9th, 2023 at 5:33 PM ^
Those feeds do not exist if you do not have an account. If you are not signed in and head to Brian's feed, you now see a pinned post from 2016 about Scott Frost's mom, followed by a 2022 post about Purdue basketball scholarships for a city-destroying skeleton, and various other posts of varying untimeliness. For users without an account, Twitter/X now orders the default feed by popularity. There is no way to sort by new or see a particular account's most recent posts.

Sounds like a you problem.
November 9th, 2023 at 5:24 PM ^
I guess this isn’t politics? I do know I’m not allowed to respond to it.
November 9th, 2023 at 6:46 PM ^
Is there a politician or political POV mentioned? But you were probably right not to respond anyway.
November 9th, 2023 at 8:37 PM ^
Found a hack for this, as I also do not have a twitter account
Google whomever you want and you’ll see 5 or so recent tweets
ex. Google “Sam Webb twitter” and you’ll be able to see current info

Seth is a day behind because he was an election volunteer.
Brian releases his on Thursday, which isn't over yet.
Be patient.
November 9th, 2023 at 4:18 PM ^
Seth said he was busy with all the B1G threats on us.
November 9th, 2023 at 4:19 PM ^
The guys have been busy but Brian promised the Offense UFR tonight in a tweet earlier today.
November 9th, 2023 at 4:19 PM ^
Read the previous 8 weeks. They are all similar.
November 9th, 2023 at 4:21 PM ^
I thought we were getting guest UFRs this week: a Rutgers analyst is doing the defense and we're getting the offensive review from OSU.
November 9th, 2023 at 4:22 PM ^
Currently delayed because they're passed through the Purdue staff first
November 9th, 2023 at 5:27 PM ^
Hahahahahaha! This is gold! Thank you.
November 9th, 2023 at 5:26 PM ^
I was actually wondering about this -- if we can find server logs showing OSU addresses hit the UFRs, is that illegal in-person scouting by OSU?
November 9th, 2023 at 4:23 PM ^
What, you think they can just analyze a full football game from TV film? This level of analysis requires video at a scale that requires a 'vast network' of 'associates' to help out, and I don't if you've been following the news, but those days are over.
November 9th, 2023 at 4:27 PM ^
A new contributor is in charge of those this week. He’s still trying to compile all of the video from his buddies, and some of his vacuums are on the fritz. Check back tomorrow.
November 9th, 2023 at 4:33 PM ^
We got a UFR of Ohio State's botched attempt to destroy Michigan Football this week instead.
November 9th, 2023 at 5:28 PM ^
Should be fun to see the other offense on the field…world class lawyers. They aren’t fucking around at all lol and I love it.
November 9th, 2023 at 4:41 PM ^
yes, but Brian has been milking this whole "sign stuff" and is apparently getting about as much work done as the rest of us.....
/s
November 9th, 2023 at 5:07 PM ^
No UFR as Michigan is currently UFR (Under Football Review)
November 9th, 2023 at 5:26 PM ^
Hopefully the signage has run its course. Seems like we’ve said everything we can other than UM’s response which <gets popcorn ready>
November 9th, 2023 at 5:37 PM ^
If you do them, perhaps.

Just having a normal one.
November 9th, 2023 at 6:38 PM ^
Seth will not be bullied despite your overwhelming numbers and the bylaws are unclear on this subject. This could be the worse scandal ever...well other than...
November 9th, 2023 at 7:13 PM ^
Why, yes we are...
A UFR was just posted @ 6:59 pm!
