I don't really read all that much into that other than that the championship and the games after Stalions was suspended will not be vacated. This is the same organization that recently considered Harbaugh buying a recruit a cheeseburger to be a level I violation.
Sustained mediocrity at OSU is something that I've never seen in my lifetime as a fan. Hell, even John Cooper won three conference championships in his time at OSU. It would be something to behold.
I was at UTL1 and while it was amazing that game is deeply stupid and Michigan mostly won it by rolling 6 after 6 in the fourth quarter (and by Jerome Gallon's cloaking device).
As far as Denard highlight games, 2010 Illinois, 2010 Notre Dame (of course) and 2011 Ohio State for me are probably the best.
I think that's my favorite Michigan play ever. The aesthetics of it are just perfect. Cade Stover is 6 foot 4, 251 pounds; Sainristil is 5 foot 10, 183 pounds. But Sainristil just has that dawg in him.
One interesting fact that I didn't know is that Cade Stover was recruited as a linebacker and then played defensive end his Freshman year; he even played linebacker in the 2022 Rose Bowl a bit. So they are actually both converted players.

I am sorry, sir. You are not a ball-knower if you just look at the points and don't understand how well Iowa's defense played. Iowa had 3 turnovers on downs, 3 fumbles, and gave up a long punt return to the 5. Effectively Michigan was +6 in turnover margin. Despite being constantly on the field, Iowa's defense held Michigan to 3.3 yards a play. I like Sherrone, but he got his ass kicked by Parker in that game, plain and simple.
They should have awarded the 2017 NFC East title to the Cowboys after Carson Wentz went down. Nobody wants to see the Eagles in the playoffs with Nick Foles. smh who would want to watch that?

Urban Meyer has won three national championships at two different schools and had an undefeated season at another. He is a truly elite college coach (probably top 10 of all time). I don't know if he still has that dawg in him but I'm actually more than happy not to find out.

The Michigan press release said that they had closed their investigation. I wasn’t aware that they had started one. So maybe they were working on a second pathway for discipline separate from the sportsmanship policy and agreed to stop with that?
I can see a scenario where Michigan wins this court case because the court rules that they cannot punish Harbaugh for an institutional violation but the court does not accept Michigan's due process argument. In that case, the Big Ten might conclude that the only legal way for them to sufficiently punish Michigan would be to ban them from the Big Ten Championship Game and the postseason.
The court case wasn't actually about whether somebody at Michigan broke a rule or not, it was about whether the Big Ten was following its own rules. Winning it would not have made people stop calling us cheaters. It would not have made the NCAA go away.
The problem is that if this wasn't Harbaugh's idea, he is probably gone at the first chance he gets.
