While Michigan is obviously behind its peers in NIL. I think you have to take this slide with a grain of salt.  It's designed to trigger a bunch of donors during a funding pitch. Notice how OSU and ND are the first two schools in tier 1?  Yeah, that's not a coincidence.

I found these tweets from Alex Kirshner of Split Zone Duo interesting about how Oregon's NIL program is so good because Phil Knight has no issue paying athletes directly and treating it as a business transaction.

I wouldn't be suprised if they quietly sent Partridge one, since he wasn't actually involved in the Stalions stuff.  You can't give Stalions one as long as the investigation is ongoing, but it would be an awesome troll move if they did after things settled down.

Polk could also be a first-round pick and Macmillon is going to get drafted as well.  Combine that with the best OL in the country that can give Penix time to find those receivers and you have a near unstoppable passing attack.  It's going to be fascinating to see how Minter approaches it.  The key is keeping the ball out of Penix's hands, which I think Michigan should be able to do as Washinton doesn't have a great defense. 

Maybe in yards.  In EPA vs the pass they are 9th in the country (Michigan is 3rd).

Definitely rooting for FSU tonight.  Because I'd really hate to see this version Bama in the semifinal.

Only if Washington wins.  If the commitee has to choose between SEC champion Alabama and PAC-12 champion Oregon they would take Bama in a heartbeat.  The doomsday scenario for ESPN and the committee is Texas, FSU, Michigan, Bama, and Washington winning next week. 

Texas would have the head-to-head over Bama. Michigan, FSU, and Washington would be in as undefeated P5 champions. There's talk that they might leave out FSU if they scrape past Louisville since they lost their QB and the committee is technically supposed to choose the four best teams.  But that would be insane, they can't leave out an undefeated P5 champ.

4. Texas

Washington might jump Michigan if they beat Oregon again. But I don't see how the committee could reasonably put an SEC team in the field in this scenario. I would be so sweet.

App State has been one of the better G5 teams for a while now.  They already beat UNC this year and took PSU to overtime last year.  South Carolina was favored by 6, that's hardly a big upset.
