New Mexico State is leading 14-7 in the second quarter while Liberty is driving. Game is on CBS Sports Network.

Oregon vs Washington 8PM on ABC. Winner likely Michigan's first playoff opponent after they take care of business tomorrow.

Can't figure what to do with Washington-Oregon.  Part of me thinks Huskies keep it close and ball out.  Part of me thinks Oregon "dominates" in thr fashion of a comfortable 12-18 pt victory.

I put money on Washington +10.  Can someone explain to me how undefeated Washington goes from beating Oregon earlier this fall to a 10 point dog now?

I get Oregon has looked good last several games, and Washington less dominant.

Is there anything else driving that spread?

I find Fowler and Herbie to be boring announcers.  They both have the same sort of disinterested monotone approach to the game.  You don't want both announcers to be "Klatt" in tone, you need at least a little "Gus."  This is an entertainment event.

Of the non-Michigan games this weekend, the Washington/Oregon game is the most important to Michigan.

The winner of the Oregon/Washington game will likely (out of all the countless scenarios) get the #3 seed, UM will likely get the #2 seed, which means the winner of OR/UW will play UM in the semi-finals.

IMO, if you are a UM fan, you are ROOTING HEAVILY FOR WASHINGTON tonight.  Oregon is red-hot.  Perhaps one of the top 3 teams in the country (along with Georgia and UM.). Washington, despite having Penix, one of the best QBs in the country, has looked vulnerable in almost every game they have played after they defeated Oregon.

TD;LR Michigans fans need to root for Washington tonight.

Prediction: Oregon 38, Washington 31. It will stay fairly close because spaz-boy Lanning is good for a couple of emotionally-motivated stupid decisions.

Just watched him do a lead-block pull to the right side in slow motion and his gut was mesmerizing in a very gross way.

IIRC Zeke Elliott tried making this a fad in the mid-2010’s and something happened where he wasn’t allowed to do it anymore. But at least he had abdominal muscles.
