It’s the beginning of B1G season!!
What are your score predictions for this week?

What are some interesting tidbits you predict or want to see happen?

45-0 Michigan

Rutgers defense, particularly the D line, I hear is solid. Why would we somehow score more against them than we did in any prior week this year?

28-10. Will feel ho hum, but I don't see us pouring gas on the fire. We never do.

Michigan sat out their starters midway through the 3rd quarter in the first two games, and the replacements were horrible on offense.  Michigan played the starters until midway through the 4rth against BGSU, but were ineffective because of turnovers.

I know it is part of the game, but against very weak competition Michigan should not have that many major blunders.  Michigan's mental mistakes have left about 34 points on the field in the first 3 games.  By all means, Michigan should have beaten East Carolina 40-3, UNLV 42-0 and BGSU 48-6.  If these were the scores, then I think people would be a lot more confident in Michigan blowing out Rutgers.

yikes. please be wrong. im all for closer than preferred, but a 4 pt win would be alarming. how about 14-7 at the half and 35-13 at the end, and we just use half a game to think about what we should be doing?

I don't really see them scoring a ton on our defense, though if guys are in and out every week, healthwise, holes are there... 24 points given up to the rut is a big deal.

Do the usual. Score 21 and then zzzz the clock

The 24-point spread is still large, but at least a little more realistic. I don’t think Michigan has covered yet this season—I think they finally cover on Saturday.

Michigan - 47

Rutgers - 20

Interesting score selection.  Curious how you selected this.

I like the 17 point win, and I don't mind giving up a couple of field goals but for Rutgers to reach 11 we've either given up a safety or 2 point conversion.  I don't like either of those scenarios.

Why 11?

Score will be 42-27.....maybe 45-23......wait, wrong game.....

Oh, Rutgers, right......the OTHER rivalry game.....

Spread right now is M -24 (down from 25) and the total is 44 -- both at DraftKings. This represents some downward movement in the spread and the total -- a point each.

Spread-wise, I don't think Michigan covers here. With Harbaugh back and given JJ's issues last week, the run game will be featured. This will slow the game down even more and keep scoring lower. I see a nerve-wracking first half with Michigan making good halftime adjustments as well as wearing down the Rutgers defense to widen the margin in the second half. Turner will be called on to kick some FGs in this one. Backups don't see the field until late in the fourth.

At the half: Michigan ahead 10-6.

Full game: Michigan 23-13.

28-9 Michigan. No TD's allowed three field goals.

What I want to see: Will Johnson, Rod Moore and JJ have a bounce back game and look highly efficient like the first two games.

31-13 Michigan. A little respect for the Rutgers defense. So, Michigan does not cover the point spread.

Michigan has not scored past 35 points thus far. If JJ plays his best game, Donovan gets closer to 100 yds along with Blake's 100-150 yds, then Michigan could score 40 or more points.

Michigan defense: Cause TO and/or INTs. (Calling Will Johnson), stop their run game, swarm to the ball.

Michigan offense: JJ; No INTS, play a clean game.

M Special Teams: watch for sky punts and no muffs or drops.

Welcome back Jim Harbaugh to the sideline!

45-7 Michigan. JJ gets two TDs and no INTs. Crisp this week. DE and BC get two TDs each. UM plays much better on offense and alleviate all the concerns from last week.

34-28 UM. We see a bunch of stuff that bothers us deeply. And we trudge through to a pretty decent season. But Saturday will have us a little nervous.
