this is the kind of shit i would expect out of the Hoke regime.. i was looking forward to seeing Enos as our PGC.. He was actually a borderline Homerun hire imo! Who the hell are we going to hire now..

He needs to ship pep out and call and offer somebody good. Oklahoma st OC can help the passing game. Jedd fisch could help. Idc who but needs to be someone

First time poster, not a troll but honestly I think it's becoming more and more clear that Jimmy is not the savior we thought he was. 3 years of being the highest paid coach in CFB with the highest paid staff has yielded zero conference titles, zero national titles, one bowl win, one win against MSU and OSU COMBINED, and zero #1 recruiting classes. I get all the usual arguments--this team was young, the program was in poor shape after Hoke and RichRod, blah blah--but at the end of the day Harbaugh is paid to do one thing: win. And he hasn't done much of that, and these recent staff turnovers only reinforce that the guy is a loser. I mean, seriously, why else would all of these recently hired staffers (Enos, Warriner) just leave after a few weeks with the program. Clearly, something is deeply wrong down in Schembechler Hall, and considering his record to date, I really don't believe Jimmy is the guy to fix it anymore. Should've canned him after 8-5 and hired Kelly and now we're stuck with him for another year. Well, when that time comes and Jimmy is still a failure and this board is still full of rage, let's hire someone who actually has a proven record of winning--this offseason alone Kelly, Jimbo, Taggart, and Frost were all available. Any one would've been better than handing an alum $10 million a year to coach a losing program.

No, not just because he allowed a coach he just hired to leave for another program and continues to employ the dumpster fire that is Pep Hamilton. He should be gone because any objective look at his record here shows that he's barely done anything to improve our program and doesn't appear set to do so in the future.

But at least Tarik's confident we're going to be good next year! /s

Everyone is disappointed with 8-5 season. I am not sure if we know for sure the problem is Pep and Drevno. We will know next year. Not enough data points. To say that he should be fired is too much. Not very rational. Let us see how this whole thing plays out in a few months.

You present no alternative as a better coach. Never make a move without the next move planned. That was Mr being nice. Honestly, you are an idiot

Really impressed with your reading skills today. /s

If you actually cared to read what I said, you'll notice that I presented Kelly, Taggart, Frost, and Jimbo all as alternatives that we could have reasonably hired this past offseason if we'd cared to look for an upgrade over mediocrity. If I'm an idiot, then honestly, you are a fucking moron.

not a good way to start off buddy.. Harbaugh is never gonna fired. Either you are trolling or you are delusional.. Trying to watch the BB game right now and i'm furious about this news..

If you're a true Michigan fan, then yeah--you should actually give a shit about our recruiting. Watching us cobble together a barely top 20 class for 2018 while OSU vies for #1 and PSU remains in the top five is excruciating for me, and it should be for you too if you care about the program.

... that "caring about Michigan's recruiting" doesn't require me to think that "not having a #1 recruting class over the course of three years" should appear on a list of fireable offenses.  If you are smart enough to type, you probably know that as well.

Stoops is a coach who understands the college game and can compete and recruit with a coach like Meyer. Harbaugh is just not into the college game. Time to move on. #HireBobStoops

Let's be honest here. Frost was never available, and the Jimbo we got is better than the Jimbo that left FSU. Let's not have a knee jerk reaction to a certainly down season. It wasn't just youth this year, it was the perfect storm of a lot of injuries at key spots, youth across the board, and some play calling that was dumbed down and untimely for our personnel/weather. Look at our last two coaches searches, that was a shot show.

and good question.

First, are we really that worried if Enos leaves?  The board wasn't thrilled about the hire to begin with, and if he was using Michigan to get another offer, good riddance.  Now we don't have to worry about him doing a Durkin during regular season.  He may even turn out to be a weakness on Saban's staff.

Second, why is Saban so threatened by Harbaugh?

than Partridge. Remember Alabama wanted Partridge but  he's stayed loyal. I just think Harbaught needs to go pluck a good OC from a good 2nd tier team. He needs to do something to improve the offensive game planning.

Who is drafting these contracts for the assistants? No way they should be so easily poachable at a university like Michigan at the payrates they are getting.

Could be just a bad client asking the lawyers to give these guys what they want but a good lawyer would be like “dude, no”.

Biggest Harbaugh supporter since day 1 and still am.  That being said, I am a bit confused about what's been going on this offseason.  I expected Pep and Drevno to be gone with Enos being OC and Warriner line coach.  I never thought Harbaugh would find it difficult to fire assistants that weren't getting the job done.  Just confused....
