100% right. Chase Young got paid and so do all their good players and everyone in the SEC and Clemson. Screw it, but being an old, conservative guy who believes in pure amateurism, its been overrun. I'm swallowing hard about Cali but their law paying players is the only way out now to level the playing field and give us a fair shot.
Agreed. The abuse their O-line dished out was the story of this game. No pressure, no run stuffing, no hope of holding them when you're manhandled every play.
My parents were immigrants and were subject to crap at times, but they didn't piss and moan, scream "I'm offended" and get someone fired from their job. We just belittled them and treasured those who treated us well. Cancel culture sucks, let the guy be and make fun of him. Less hate involved that way.
Time to grab the reins again and run the show like his earlier years. None of this giving all the concepts and game plans to assistants that have never been a head coach for a reason. He needs to be the ultimate competitor we all knew, with the largest at stake in every game, not the passive observer he's become.
Hanging on or not learning from the past? Bo's the last premium top flight coach we had and lessons can be learned, so don't crap on his legacy pal. And yeah any good coach gets the best he can out of his players. Saban at MSU and the Dolphins come to mind. Now he has good players.
You coach with what you got. Then you make 'em better. Ain't happening now for whatever reason but they can do better if the fire and pride returns. Bo would'a made them walk home and its time Harbs to do the same.
He used to do everything on the way up, trusting no-one but himself. Just like all of us when we were younger. But now he's just the CEO relying on others to manage the enterprise. Sad its reached this point but its obvious in his demeanor and his indication that the D is all Brown and the O is all Gattis.
C'mon this is no different than the Moeller and Carr years when we consistently went about the same records as now. Only Bo stood out and he sucked at bowl games too. All in all I'd rather have Harbaugh than Chip Kelly and they kinda both had good college success, went to the pros and returned with mediocre results.
Watching Clemson and Alabama they have dominant lines. Until we get those again, we won't challenge for a championship. We have the skill players, just as good as those guys. JH will get us there.
We compete for talent with the best of 'em and there's little difference between us and ND who's going to the CFP. Jeez, even MSU made it once. We have the talent, even with this lost recruit, to compete with. Texas, Penn State, USC, Washington, we're all in the same boat except Alabama and Clemson are a step ahead.
Finding tackles or plays to hide their deficiencies is not rocket science. It amazes that we keep insisting on their being good for a play to be successful. Maybe we should ask App State.
Harbs isn't the same guy who came here, not animated, not in command and most of all not at the top of his profession that he once was. What a damn shame it had to happen here.
Why did he have to bring up the memories of his horrible play last year with this typical Twitter crap. Just be happy you spent some years in the best college town and at the finest university in the country. Yikes.
A good coaching staff with any number of 3, 4, and 5 star recruits will challenge for a conference championship and will go toe to toe with anybody. Harbaugh has 3 years of recruits, plus a 5 star QB so it all starts now.
Wouldn't trade this run for anything else right now as it was great fun the last month. In the future we'll have a lotta respect due to '13 and this squad. We'll get one soon.
One more thing, we need James Earl Jones to put out the video this week with the basketball team as representing the Greatest University In the Country!

Proud grad of UM and MSU both and sure recognize a toxic witch hunt when I see one. Cut the brothers in Lansing some slack to correct a horrible situation. There are still some good people with good intentions trying their best up there.
Hey, playing 8-8 ball and only 9 TD passes all year will put anyone into denial, but 3rd string QB's and an OL with 1 good player will do that to you. Here's to hoping they develop alot of pieces quickly.

No coach could'a saved this defensive line today or against Wisky. They were plain run over, and the weakest position group we have.
