OTish -- draft transfer tracker

Submitted by so bored at work on April 29th, 2024 at 11:27 AM

Has anyone seen a tracker anywhere showing number of draftees by transfer origin? Seeing folks like All and Milton drafted made me wonder, but I haven't come across one anywhere. I assume the leaders would be the Bamas and UGas of the world who have a surplus of 4- and 5-stars in each recruiting class, but it would be interesting to see what teams were outperformed by their outgoing transfers, and also which smaller schools had the most successful up-transfers.

I haven't seen a site that sorts/filters that way, but let's congratulate Michigan State for having back2back WRs taken at the end of the first round and start of the second.

In a similar vein OSU twitter is taking a massive victory lap that we "only" got 13 players drafted instead of 16 (they got 4) and that there were players from Michigan that were invited to the combine, but not drafted, as PROOF POSITIVE that the NFL realized they were that talented and it was the Conner Stallions effect that gave us such a good record.

I wish I could say I was making this up.

OSU and that fanbase is like someone that has a 90% chance of winning the lottery every time they play. Sure everyone is going to chum up to them before the drawing and it sure seems like everything is going to work out. But then you lose 3 lotteries in a row and wonder what went wrong? Dont worry though you guys have a 90% chance of winning again this year!
