Great news. I wonder though how many snaps he will get. Seems like we have a lot of great young receivers who all do a lot of the same things. Giles, Henning, Sainristil, and now Worthy.  I wouldn’t put it past him to pass a couple of these guys right off the bat though.

I won't lie, I'm beyond surprised at this.

He just visited Bama and watched Devonta Smith play like a Heisman finalist.

JJ now has a bona fide deep threat,  I'll take it!

Maybe he likes the idea of getting touches in year 1 and being the go to early on. Something he might not ever achieve at Bama. Devonta Smith had to play in the shadow of tons of great WR at Bama. He was even overshadowed by Jaylen Waddle as the top NFL prospect before he got injured.

Let's see if the kid can earn the #1 jersey and live up to the number.

We lost some recruits due to the chaos of this season, but did we lose any Offense recruits of significance?

It seems like we are in good shape on Offense, no?

Outstanding news!  I have an idea for a new offensive scheme that just may work with Mr. Worthy's particular skill set, IF we can get the buy-in from our coaches.

First, I suggest we throw the ball "to" him more so than just generally "at" him as per our strategy this past fall.  Second, I humbly suggest that our newest "X" be asked to run PAST the farther of the tall bright orange sticks found on either side of the field.  My recollection is that when this occurs (assuming that X adequately secures the ball that has been thrown TO him), our team would in fact be awarded four (4) EXTRA tries to accomplish the same again.  Finally, IF we were to do so within the last 30' feet of the field, SIX (6) points would be awarded to our whole team--how fantastic is that!

I double-checked this just to be sure, and the four (4) extra tries after the tall bright orange sticks, as well as the six (6) point opportunity, are available not only under high school and NFL scoring systems, but also at the collegiate level IF we are so inclined to adopt such a strategy.

Let's give this "forward pass" thing a whirl, and together, we shall matriculate the ball down the field!

This is a pretty solid confirmation that Harbaugh will be back and will retain Josh Gattis. Alabama pushed hard for this kid in the end and did not get him.
