Except he already redshirted, unless they will try and get an injury year this year
October 14th, 2018 at 10:50 AM ^
Thanks - you're right - I'd forgotten about that. Or I was thinking it was something weird with grad transfers. Or I wasn't thinking and just giddy about the win. Or I was drunk.
CORRECT ANSWER: (E) All of the above

Peters has no eligibility to gain by not playing
October 14th, 2018 at 1:15 PM ^
It was bizarre they brought Milton into the game so early, only to have him stumble around in the pocket for no gain. I don't know if the kid just botched it or if they were setting something up for down the road, but at the time it was just a wasted down.
October 13th, 2018 at 10:51 PM ^
Great 2nd half adjustments
October 13th, 2018 at 10:52 PM ^
Was the line big enough????????
Forget the doubters
October 13th, 2018 at 10:54 PM ^
I was a doubter. I thought the line was way too big. Shows what I know.
What a comprehensive win. There are still flaws on this team that need to be sorted, but you can't ask for a better looking win than what we just got tonight. Outstanding.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:15 PM ^
But that's the thing. Each week they fix things. Tell me you don't think this team would beat Notre Dame now? Week by week, the coaches fix the bugs and they're running out of bugs..
October 13th, 2018 at 11:34 PM ^
It seems clear that this team really enjoys playing at home. Vegas has (partially) caught on.
October 13th, 2018 at 10:52 PM ^
Good shit overall. A couple of dumbass “trick” plays that killed drives, but great plan and adjustments at half.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:22 PM ^
There was criticism of being too conservative, so I assume trick plays that work are awesome, trick plays that don't are dumbass.
It's an overall game plan that kept them off balance and was awesome. This fan base needs to stop criticizing one play because it didn't work.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:59 PM ^
And really, Milton losing one yard on 1st and 10 didn't kill the drive.
October 13th, 2018 at 10:56 PM ^
Do we need to be worried about Paul Chryst?
October 13th, 2018 at 11:05 PM ^
Doubt he suicides over this loss
October 13th, 2018 at 10:56 PM ^
That Milton QB draw in the first half was incredibly dumb. Everything else was solid.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:34 PM ^
Yeah, not sure what to make of that play and at that time in the game. The fake from Patterson to McCaffery was a better designed play that could have been better executed/sold.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:56 PM ^
Near the end of the half I really wanted Michigan to put in Milton and see how far he could bomb it down the field.
October 14th, 2018 at 12:15 AM ^
Yes, at that time, the game was still in question and it seemed to waste a down in a good scoring opportunity - that ended up with a missed FG.
October 14th, 2018 at 9:42 AM ^
But the one in the second half was beautiful. Imagine the response if he would have pulled that off the first time.
October 13th, 2018 at 10:57 PM ^
Overall good, but please stop the gimmick plays.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:18 PM ^
No please keep thwm
comkn if this is the outcome
October 13th, 2018 at 11:53 PM ^
Seems to me we put several bullshit plays on tape this week for MSU to practice for.
October 13th, 2018 at 10:58 PM ^
The 1st quarter Milton play was as predictable as pepcat. Bleh.
A jet sweep is a certainty if Ambry comes in at WR. Bleh
Patterson always handing off even when the DE crashes down looks to me to be a coaching directive until this game. That play makes this offense potentially devastating.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:01 PM ^
I think the second to last play of the game showed why it may have been a good idea, at least on paper. Overall, it was the best game plan I’ve see. Since 2016 OSU. Count me impressed and irrationally excited about the remainder of the year!
October 13th, 2018 at 11:15 PM ^
It's very, very similar to the zone read arc bluff play that Colin Kaepernick wrecked Green Bay with.
It can be adjusted to. But the adjustment makes things easier for the OL.
All the shotgun running Michigan has been working this season just paid off today in a big way.
October 14th, 2018 at 9:50 AM ^
Harbaugh trolling the whole state of Wisconsin in lieu of MNF?
October 13th, 2018 at 11:21 PM ^
Maybe the Ambry play is setting something up for weeks to come when he runs full speed down the sideline for a huge pass.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:22 PM ^

October 13th, 2018 at 11:38 PM ^
it’s tendency. So when they run it against osu and don’t give it to Ambry what then????
October 13th, 2018 at 11:46 PM ^
Hand off on the jet, then throwback to Shea?
October 13th, 2018 at 10:58 PM ^
At least we don't have Wisconsin's coaching staff. They played with no urgency and burned a lot of minutes.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:08 PM ^
WTF was with the concession punt and then going for it on 4th an 10 for a cosmetic score, then 2pt conversion, then onside kick (!). Was he pissed McCaffery scored?
October 13th, 2018 at 11:14 PM ^
Agree. You go for it on 4th down near midfield with a 21-7 deficit. Horrible coaching decision by Chryst that sealed the game for us.
October 14th, 2018 at 12:00 AM ^
If you're mad that your opponent's backup QB ran for a TD, well, I don't know what to tell you. What are we supposed to do there, take a knee every down?
October 14th, 2018 at 3:13 AM ^
Dude, even before the fourth and two punt, UW was running the ball a LOT. And I know the run was working for them, it just seemed like they killed a TON of time they didn't need to.
If you're down by three scores in the second half, you save clock and lengthen the game. Even if you run you should still be in hurry up mode.
October 13th, 2018 at 10:59 PM ^
Outstanding. Warinner is the man!
October 14th, 2018 at 11:05 AM ^
It also highlights the part Drevno played in the record of the past 2 years !
October 13th, 2018 at 10:59 PM ^
Trick plays were all stupid and useless AF. Adjustments at halftime were amazing.
October 13th, 2018 at 10:59 PM ^
Paul Chryst was a game managing shit-show tonight. Harbaugh was not.
October 13th, 2018 at 10:59 PM ^
I don’t know what they changed at the half, but whatever it was, the running game which was pretty dismal except for Patterson’s long run in the first half, really exploded in the second half.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:00 PM ^
Harbaugh offense? Shea for 81 yards and McCaffrey for 44 yards are a bit atypical for Harbaugh. First half was a tad conservative with the FGs and weak “trick” plays, but they finished well.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:02 PM ^
Long live the RPO.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:03 PM ^
Don Brown.
Nothing more needs to be said.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:03 PM ^
Trick plays always seem obvious...everything else looks good
October 13th, 2018 at 11:16 PM ^
We were just setting up the counter to the trick play for future use.

October 13th, 2018 at 11:05 PM ^
There's room for nitpicking, especially with all the failed trick plays, but I don't know how you could see all the struggles of other top 10 teams and Paul Chryst's game management and not feel pretty great about the guys we have
October 13th, 2018 at 11:09 PM ^
What a statement game for the team, hopefully the recruits felt the impact of that game.
October 13th, 2018 at 11:11 PM ^
Paul Chryst sucks. He went away from Taylor way too often (I think Taylor finished with 17 carries). Then when it comes down to it, he waves the white flag and punts in the 4th quarter....only to start calling timeouts, airing it out, and going for the onside. Ya got blown out Paul. Stop wasting my time trying to pretty up the score. We all know what happened
October 13th, 2018 at 11:11 PM ^
Hell of a decision to make tonight a night to show off the program to recruits. Well done!
