Not sure if Mertz can play, haven't read anything substantive about when the 21 day clock starts, but anyone else that tested positive after him would still be out for the game. I do wonder how many starters or "regulars" will have to be out... Not that it really matters though.

I don't really care if we win or lose, relative to my wanting Harbaugh fired. It's what the team looks like on the field that matters. Football has a lot of random events. You want to have the best team possible so those random events don't cause you to lose a game you should win. I'm not going to judge a coach on if more or less of those events are going in his favor.

If Milton hits Bell on the wide open deep route and Hawkins doesn't get a PBU on Hill's free INT, we maybe/probably beat Indiana...Does that change the fact that the team still looked like shit all game? No. If the refs review the incompletions on MSU's final TD drive, we could've won that game. We could be a top 10 3-0 team even with how shitty we've played... and I would still want Brown and Harbaugh gone for how this team has looked.

Maybe we can actually catch a break for once and play against their back ups. They can lose this game and still make the Conference Championship Game, but if they don’t play they won’t be eligible. Even if they only have 22 walk-ons available, it would be better for them to play and lose instead of not playing at all.

Most likely Mertz will somehow be cleared to play or Coan will return from his alleged season ending injury and play the game of his life because that’s how things go against UM.

God dammit.

They’ve seen us play and thought this is a GREAT week to return to play.

They haven’t practiced in 2 weeks and we’re gonna put up scrimmage like resistance.

I wonder if all those stud recruits( Donovan Jackson etc) are still coming to watch the game? This will just seal the deal for the other teams recruiting them osu etc! Ugh!

What time is this game? 7:30 PM? That gives me plenty of time to check with my doctors to find out - worst case - if a glass of Everclear, or indeed straight up aviation fuel, would be permissible....

You know what's amazing: some years back, Wisconsin beat Michigan. The reaction in Wisconsin was so ecstatic, calling it a "program" win. You could sense the jubilation and pride in a win over a program like UM.

And yet, now ...

So how many yards is their 4th string QB going to throw for this weekend? 400? Over/under on 3 TD passes?

Of course this is a game they don’t plan on missing. Barry Alvarez had to have watched the tape from the last two weeks and said to himself he doesn’t care if his entire starting OL comes down with COVID, they’re not missing a chance to beat up on a hapless Michigan team.

Mertz will just chuck it deep on every play. We will have 250 yards in pass interference penalties.

Son of a bitch.  Ineffective D-line + bad secondary + bad coaching and game planning  = another ugly loss.

I was hoping for a cancellation, just to avoid a beatdown.  And here I just ordered some UM facemasks from the MDen.  I'm going to be too ashamed to wear them in public.
