We just have to acknowledge they are a better team.

We got a fair whistle. Shot and defended reasonably well.

They just wore us down.

Oddly, I believe getting worn down usually shows up on defense, but for us, it seems to show up on offense where we stop cutting and settle for jump shots too much.

Maybe we need to start recruiting players that have criminal potential and then bail them out like Izzo does for the sake of the program

*yes, that was half-hearted sarcasm*

Doesnt make me feel any better honestly. And the pessimistic side of me says State is winning it all. It’d be their luck.

If our program had gone thru the scandals State has and hidden it the way Izzo and D’Antonio have, we would be beat to a pulp by the media, ruining the program for years (which would be deserved). State, nah, everything’s good and they just move on like. Itching has happened. Karma has to kick in at some point right?

Yes, I’m bitter.

Michigan Athletics is the definition of : Runner Up.       Always close and in the hunt...,but can’t  ever win the big one when it’s all on the line

Michigan is lacking a leader at the end of close games.  No one on the team can carry the team when it's needed most.  Hopefully someone steps up and takes that role next year.  I hate to say it, but the better team won today.

Poole should be shooting three free throws to tie the game. That’s not a “they’re just better than us scenario”

I think we just need to acknowledge that we are the little bitches to OSU in football and the little bitches to MSU in bball. Eh oh well...

How do you say we got a fair whistle? Maybe most of the game but there were 3 critical calls and no calls that went completely against us at the end of the game that helped decide it. The bs lean in foul by Poole on Mcquaid, the out of bounds overturned call that was NOT indisputable and then they actually fouled Poole and nothing was called. Yes, Michigan lost a big lead but that's what happens when teams are evenly matched but you hope that refs dont decide games and they did this one at the end.

1) That is called a foul every time. That is 100% on Poole for closing out late and jumping on the pump fake.

2) That is consistently called this way 100% of the time. It may be against the "spirit of the game" but it is the right call by the book. If you didn't see it go off Teske in slow mo you may be blind.

3) Sure, they probably should have called a foul. But Poole just can't play for a foul like that with the ENTIRE fucking game riding on it. Inexcusably bad bball IQ

Poole has went from one of the most loved players at Michigan, to one of the most loathed. And honestly he deserves it.

I will *never* hate another team more than the 2019 spartans men's basketball squad.  i could give 3 shits (and my toilet just acknowledged it) that they are better.  Fuck Mcpoyle.  Here's hoping they get straight up embarassed by the Saint Louis Billikens.

Exactly We suck. We have a lead and always implode. There is no leader to take and make a good shot  It turns into mass chaos

We played our best game until the very end.  MSU wasn't as good today as they were the previous 2 games until the last several minutes.

I hate this so much.  MSU earned all 3 wins.

I can live with losing to a better team. What pisses me off is that we lost the exact same way three times in a row. Ran out to a big lead, and then the proverbial scoring drought kicks in and we let Winston/McQuaid take over. I would almost rather have been blown out.

Now I understand how State fans felt all those years with Carr where we came from behind and beat them in football after they’d rush out to a big lead early on.

You may be right that MSU is a better team, but to say that UM got a fair whistle is a joke. MSU made their entire run with the aid of officiating -- giving and 1's without contact and letting MSU go over the back on the offensive boards with impunity. I don't even care that they didn't call Winston for the most obvious intentional foul at the end of the game. How did McQuaid get three foul shots when he wasn't even in the process of shooting? That was garbage -- and three very important points.

J Brandimore,

Just to reiterate. YOU ARE A GIANT WEENIE. To come on this blog and try to announce that we should "just face it... MSU is better" makes you a giant spineless, WUSS, if you truly are a member of the Michigan fan base. I hope you are negged on this blog and for your overall loser mentality in life.
