The alumni media members easily get a pass. What else would you expect? Now, if Woodson was the actual individual calling the national broadcast, that’s a different story.

Maybe if it's the former defensive back celebrating a great defensive back play, and the offensive guy thinking the flanker was open on the play and the ball should have gone to the other side of the field.
But honestly, I think it is just their biased reaction to the play.

Desmond Howard has been blatantly biased towards Michigan on Gameday for years. I don't think he's ever picked against Michigan, no matter how good or bad they were that year. But no one seems to care.
I do agree, though. If he was actually commentating on the game or doing the broadcast, then yeah that'd be a big problem. I think that's probably why he doesn't do any commentating. There's no way he'd be able to remain unbiased calling a Michigan game.

What did he really add though? I tuned in just before kickoff and he was talking through a spreadsheet of practice schedule from Ohio State where they went 1's on 1's after playing non conference or something. Like, who cares? It's also proof he literally can't add anything of value to the Big Noon show without talking about himself.
