I was listening to the Mel Tucker show with George Blaha before the Ohio state game and George made it sound like sparty had a real chance to upset the bucs and they got shredded, I expect the same bullshit from sparty and a similar result.
I just have a feeling we are finally just going to curb stomp them this year after being embarrassed the last 2 seasons. They just don’t have the athleticism to compete with us. Hutch got robbed of a touchdown last year. We will beat them to a pulp.
Nobody is more perfect for the job than Harbaugh, love Jim and where this program is headed. It’s fun seeing this team grow and hopefully grow enough to have a chance at beating the nuts in Columbus, we have a lot of work to do!
Honestly it almost sounds like a excuse, and they also said there not loud enough, that’s BS to because you can always give ‘em a higher psi and make them louder. I could tell that the Joe horn was louder for certain games during the regular season and especially louder for playoff games.
If I understand correctly they used medical oxygen for the horns, it makes sense since you could fill up a tank and it would last you a few months perhaps. But they can run on compressed air just fine and I don’t understand why an air compressor would violate a fire code which to me makes no sense. The old horn just hit different and just was kinda the sound of Detroit. The recording really isn’t even a recording either it’s just computer generated, any red wings goal horn on YouTube would sound better.
I can understand your point of view, like I said in another comment hopefully it’s a short blast and then let the victors play, and it won’t be that stupid train horn.
I would say if the they do one 5 second blast after a goal and still be able to hear the victors that would be our perfect compromise, but I do understand this point of view and kinda thought the same way unless it was an actually good sounding horn.
The Wings usually had 2 or 3 of these horns at the Joe pointed in different directions, one set of these horns should be plenty loud for Yost. As many of you know LCA no longer has that horn and plays a recording. It will be nice to have that good old sound back in real life.
Seemed like we came out flat and finally got our shit together during the second quarter but there’s no reason to panic yet, we face a great offense today.
It didn’t seem like our offensive staff was prepared for the struggles we would have today, It took them a little while to adjust and get rolling again but even good coaches won’t be perfect. McDonald was a great DC but was not prepared for MSUs tempo last year so even great coaches have some hiccups and hoping today was just a hiccup and we can be better prepared for what lies ahead. I’m staying cautiously optimistic. We won, on to Iowa City.

I was never a fan of Gattis, especially after he didn’t properly utilize Nico Collins.
