Ryan Day: His new center's snapping woes at Alabama due to Jalen Milroe’s cadence
Ryan Day claims that his new center had issues at Alabama due to Jaden Milroe's "cadence".
Yeah, that's the ticket!
No one loves excuses quite like Ryan Day
Makes no sense. They practiced and played together all season.
Ryan Day reads MGOBLOG.
Bud Elliott on the Cover 3 podcast somewhat blamed Milroe as well a while back. But it was more of he was lined up off center from the snap if I remember correctly. But when I went back and watched the all 22 view of the Rose Bowl on the botched snaps I paid attention to it looked like Milroe was directly behind him.
Bowling the ball along the ground had to do with cadence........ok.....
And the center had a cold all season.
Also, the author of the article is another bad writer trying to sound hifalutin and failing badly: "only one quarterback in which McLaughlin worked with"
Looking forward to seeing Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant blowing right by him next November.
I just realized how sophisticated our DTs names sound. Hilarious.
I feel like there were issues snapping with Bryce Young as well but Young was able to handle it better.
McLaughlin is a good blocker but he clearly isn't consistent snapping the ball and OSU either needs to accept that and move him elsewhere or stop trying to draw attention to the fact he sucks at it.
Yea I'm sure Milroe's cadence was "snap it into the ground" instead of a go or hut or clap and that would be a bit confusing
Wouldn't a cadence issue be more likely to result in false starts than snapping the ball in every direction except his QB's hands? If the kid's explanation was to blame someone else he'll fit right in at OSU.
We know for sure, the center got an instant upgrade of TOUGHNESS as soon as he set foot on campus.
Wait, they don’t actually do that? Uh oh…
Lol what an asshole.
Now that McCord is gone, Day has is new fall Guy..
Sounds........soft
What was his cadence? Was he yelling “Snap it to my ankles … HUT!”
You know, after this next season ends, and Day is fired, I think he will realize that he shouldn't have chased off McCord. He was very close to beating us and I think with home field next year they would be very tough.
Ryan Day is officially a headcase.
He was terrible in the Rose Bowl. Kenneth Grant and Mason Graham gave him issues he couldn't manage. How they were not 5 stars, based on how good they were from the start, is a mystery to me. They both have long term NFL potential and are going to be so much fun to watch this year.
Recruiting services are what they are if Ohio state had offered those guys they’d have been 5 stars. Same players but subjectivity at play.
Exactly what cadence would force you to squib the ball on the ground in the vicinity of the QB? Godzilla's roar? Who cares what the Buckeye interim running backs coach thinks anyway?
Ryan is losing his mind and Michigan is reaping all the benefits.
Maybe it's like Kramer with Mary Hart's voice.
Damn these Ohio people don’t take accountability for anything. Just say he can’t snap two in a row straight. Anyone who watched the Rose Bowl knows
If so that seems like a Tough thing to overcome.
Sure that was the problem like always is is someone else's fault
The only way to know is by watching this year's Rose Bowl again.
I missed Alabama's center transferring to Ohio State. Can't think of a better place for him.
Ryan Day is the Remco Evenepoel of John Coopers
