Todd Simon is a good young coach and he is in good hands.

I actually thought Arkansas already hired him.  Probably just people trying to get ahead of the story.  He's going to have a hard time competing now that everybody pays players.  Plus the young, one and done, teams never create any continuity.

Here in the south they call them buggies.  Nobody here, except me, calls them a shopping cart.

 That would be great for him.  I was hoping we would hear of him getting opportunities.  He was a big part of some past success.

I like this coach so far.  We are seeing players with confidence in their coach, wanting to follow him.  Nice quality to have.

OSU went through the first 11 games easily.  They are always loaded.  Not wise to underestimate them.

JJ has been very generous with his time but has found some revenue streams.  NIL can be something that endures when you win the National Championship.  His signature adds value to any item instantly.

I almost have 2000 mgo points.  It's only taken me 13 years.  I usually visit the site everyday at some point and love all of the content. 

This season will be hard to match and that's ok, next year is a new challenge.  I believe in Coach Moore and he does very well on the sidelines, in big games, at Michigan.   

He seems very professional and comes with good track record.

Zinter was always good right from the start as a true freshman.  He is going to be an anchor on the interior for many years.

Keegan in the 6th round seems like a big steal.  Barner should be higher also very ready to contribute right away.

I'd like to see the BIG pick Duke if they are going to 24 teams.  Much like Northwestern academically and a private school.  

In that scenario, we could call him Jizzo and his pal Tugger.

The arena there is very small.  Not sure on why it was even considered?  NCAA do you even want to survive?

...And their (Louisville) in the ACC.  And certainly not at the top of the pecking order when the Big 3 conferences select ACC schools, very soon.

In the first Louisville link it takes 20 posts before someone mentions that their conference is imploding and that they don't have any idea what conference they are going to be in NEXT year.

FAU has a strong roster.  Dusty can recruit.  With the portal maybe the wait will be short.

So happy we get to keep some of that chemistry from the last 3 years.  Some of these players have been waiting a long time for a chance to lead.  Giovanni El Hadi comes to mind.  He has been good enough to start ANYWHERE except where Zinter and Keegan played.

Did the right thing.

He was terrible in the Rose Bowl.  Kenneth Grant and Mason Graham gave him issues he couldn't manage.  How they were not 5 stars, based on how good they were from the start, is a mystery to me.  They both have long term NFL potential and are going to be so much fun to watch this year.

And 10 new players.

He certainly has been passed on the depth chart by Semaj Morgan.  Could open up a space for someone in the portal for depth.  Maybe they are already on the roster and will emerge this spring? 

Great.  Now we need 11 new players.  

Hopefully he picks a school that can help him with any path he wishes.  

They now have 3 players total left from the last 3 classes.

Fred Hoiberg would be a safe pick.  Solid reputation and NBA and NCAA experience.

I don't know why he wouldn't be considered.  I certainly would ask him what his plan for NIL is?

Hopefully there is some plan to manage this process for a coach, but Juwan was overwhelmed by this aspect, and seemed left on his own to manage the admissions tragedies.  This will be the central issue because developmental programs are now feeding grounds for the rich teams.

 Good time of year to do that.  I cut mine all back last week while waiting for Juwan to be fired.

Given the Sanderson incident and the risk of litigation, I would make sure that I had a clear vision of the situation before letting the employee know.  This is a good time to keep the lawyers in the office in the loop.  This increases the probability of a firing considerably and just has the appearance of moving on.    

With the tournament starting, I wonder how that will impact the timing?

Sounds good to me.  Nobody wants to hate Juwan he just seems to be in over his head.  He needs 10 new players.  After his 5th year.

Requiring academic progress seems a good idea also.  Keeping the student athlete aspect intact.
