The problem is that the committee looks at the best 4 current teams and FSU was down to their 3rd QB which played a HUGE factor.
I've watched that Alabama QB quite a few times this year and we haven't faced anything like him - he has a decent arm but can really take off and run. He's gotten better and better as the year goes on and of course the other strong parts of this Alabama team - as usual - their OL and DL

I remember that with Cardale Jones but the one thing that swayed the voters was OSU - with Jones - totally destroying Wisky in the B1G CCG - something like 50 or 60 to nothing which got them into the Playoffs. That was not the case with FSU yesterday.

This is a result of ESPN talking heads massaging their narrative to include Bama at all costs. Bama and Ohio St are the only two programs that have this kind of favoritism.

“This Alabama” team needed a muffed punt and a 4th-and-31 conversion to beat Auburn, who lost a week before to NMSU. The argument that “this Alabama” team is different from the September Alabama is bullshit.
