OT: Brady's wager with Stroud - a Super Bowl ring for the Michigan / OSU game - a bit of humor

We've all been dealing with a lot of "intensity" on another topic - and, this bit of news caught my attention and might bring a bit of humor / levity.

Tom Brady proposed a wager with CJ Stroud on the Michigan v OSU game.

"If Ohio State wins ... you get one of my Super Bowl rings. And if Michigan beats Ohio State, then you got to give me all your youth, your agility, your time in the 40 (yard dash) and all your future years in the NFL," Brady said. "How about that?"

Kind of a strange take tbh. He's already playing like a top 10 QB as a rookie and has turned around a moribund team in only 9 games. Obviously a lot goes into winning a Super Bowl but he certainly seems like he has the potential to get there if the Texans can build a good team around him.

I got dressed to go running the other day.  Flat ground is no problem, but the sudden drop of 5 inches along the curb from my property to the street apparently caught my back by surprise, and next thing I know, pain shot through my back.  I slowly walked back to my house and canceled my run.  Too embarrassed to explain what happened, I quietly slinked away to my office.

I'm only a casual NFL fan and from what I've heard/read Stroud has been better than advertised. He definitely has the chance to be the best former an Osu QB in the NFL. Look out Mike Tomczak!

Yeah, Stroud's success makes me more confident in the Game this year, as he is legit an elite QB.  Without him dropping dimes all over the field, they are going to have to work even harder to score their 25 points.

I do think OSU's defense is better this year, but they looked real good coming into the Game last season as well.  I am also thinking that there is a whole section of the playbook that is only being repped in practice.

Don't think of this years team as that of the last 2 years.  Crazy as It seems they are basically more like UM than ever with a much more balanced, and in some ways a more run focused offense and emphasis on "toughness"  ... but, can they out UM, UM? Doubt it.... Harbaugh has made toughness a part of the dna of every programme he's been associated with whereas Day...not so much.

I've crunched the data and I've determined what it takes for an OSU quarterback to be good in the NFL...

Never beating Michigan while in college.
