OSU QB Recruit Quinn Ewers officially forgoing senior year and enrolling early at OSU
They'll just get another 5 star next year
It's pretty late to pull in a 5* QB in the 2022 class.
Curious how their QB situation is going to turn out.
Knowing OSU, each 5* QB will somehow patiently wait their turn for 1 season of a starting job
Goodbye colllege -- and now high school -- football. I used to love thee.
Will be interesting to see how this works out.
I am glad that NIL and free transfers happened but there going to be some kids who take a risk and get burned. Not trying to suggest it will happen to this young man
The student in 'student-athlete' is dead.
College football has been trending this way for a while but is now officially NFL lite.
How though? He just gets to skip a year of high school? They should be forced to finish, the last thing we need is even dumber football players.
It's been answered earlier in the thread
At this point I hope the Big Ten expands, and Michigan is moved to a different division than OSU and no longer plays them every season.

This, in a nutshell, captures precisely the current culture problem for you guys. Sad

At this point, i hope we change our schedule and play 12 games a season against OSU. Home and away, home and away, repeat. We will win 1 game against OSU a season and OSU will still go to the playoffs. Everyone wins.
Bring it on. We have our own wonder-kid QB in JJ McCarthy.
If both Ewers and McCarthy are good enough to beat everyone else out and be the starters by November 27th, then let them have at each other in The Game.
I'll watch.

I must be in the minority in here in thinking Cade is gonna be a star for us, and beats OSU in fall.

Why doesn't he just forego his college eligibility and apply for a waver to go straight to the NFL already?
