OSU bowl game snowflakes: they stink (so far, 2nd qtr)

The stupidity at the end of the half was just remarkable. First Mizzou getting called for the PF, saving tOSU from having to punt from their own end zone. Then tOSU letting their 3rd string QB throw the ball on 3rd and ten, when running the ball all but runs out the clock. Then Mizzou getting a delay penalty on a FG attempt. 

No McCord and especially no Harrison, this OSU offense is stuck. Ryan Day is also a very weak play caller without superior skill players to stretch the field. They need all the 5 stars at RB and DE to generate plays.

Next year presents a very clear risk to OSU of finally enduring 4+ losses.  

Wow. That was a wounded duck, but good hit in the open window. 

So of course their receiver gets hurt.

Spent halftime coaching up Keinholz, and that was a legit play. 

Missouri isn’t going to score. F this

OSU QB took a huge forearm to the head/neck. Looked like a cheap shot on the replay.

Is this the same Missouri team that the sec folks talked up as a good sec teams ? 

Literally every page of the playbook being scrounged for ways to advance the football. 

the red zones are strictly verboten when these defenses match wits.   special teams not interesting in scoring either...  hmm

Well you wondered how they could call this a "New Year's game" and there's OSU missing a FG just like New Year's Day last year.

This is a really rough game to watch

Clearly, I-wa (No O) hacked both Missouri and OSU playbooks and uploaded the Hawkeye “offense” playbooks to both teams. (Probably mistaking which “UM” they hacked.  And they were reasonably thrown off by the M logo on these Tiger helmets.)

They fucking suck.  Right now is a fun time to spend over at 11W, however.

Watching this is like trying to hate-watch Roadhouse. How much can I endure?

It would be interesting to see Missouri get a 10-14 pt lead and then watch Day/Kienholz try to mount any attack.

Alas, it looks like Missouri will be lucky to get any lead.

What a gift of this game ends up 3-0. A program defining win in all the wrong ways. 

I love how Dave Pasch is making subtle comments about the offensive futility in the game.

We put up 30 on this OSU defense.

This is certainly making me feel better about our offense. OSUs D is getting no help from the offense and theyre still making Mizzou look like Minnesota

If I am Third Base, I am on the phone immediately after this debacle seeing what I can do to get McCord back from Syracuse.

And people thought the B1G championship game was bad offense and boring? OSU says, "Hold my beer!"

Bama played their best game of the season by far and scored 6 more points against Georgia's defense than this powerhouse Missouri offense. 

Their run game is too vanilla. They just don't have the diversity to make things work if they can't pass. 

I mean, that's usually not a big deal with the way their passing game works. But right now it's pretty glaring.

Got a first when Missouri played for the pass.

OSU fans are all convinced Air Nolan will be the instant savior. It's incredible just how bad Day's offense is without an elite QB and elite WRs.  

Mizzou seems strangely unaware that OSU can't pass.

Ok, I write that and now they're actually driving.
