Colorado these last couple weeks has been a really good demonstration of the distinction between a blue chip program and a group of blue chip recruits. Of course, their bluest chip has also been out, to be fair.

Minnesota getting shredded by the run and the pass against ... Louisiana Lafayette. I don't think we'll have much to worry about in that night game.

Lots of people in here crapping on Colorado/Prime. He's great for the sport of college football. Year 1, I expect he'll have the Buffs turned into a contender sooner than later. Especially once they're in the Big12.

I don't have anything against Colorado or Deion, but they have a lot of work to do to compete. Once he doesn't have his son at QB, he isn't left with much. His recruiting class is currently 74th. Maybe he cleans up in the transfer portal, but still -- it's pretty bleak. Without program continuity, he'll need to land elite QBs to give them a chance IMO.

Yeah well said. I’m not really rooting against him/them, but there is a lot more to being a good football team other than getting good recruits. See Texas A&M

He makes the game little more fun, but the blue bloods will always be at that top, most times, and I’m sure he will have good teams occasionally but media needs to cool it.  They aren’t doing them any favors , each team is going to give them all they got to shut up the narrative.  Tough spot to be in.

I mean they managed to get ranked after 1 close win, so yeah they'll probably make it the playoffs if they can pull out 10 wins in the B12. That shouldn't even be difficult when the best teams you'll be playing are Utah, BYU, Cincy and Kansas (assuming their coach doesn't leave).
