No Way... Ryan Day and "TOUGH"

I mean... they REALLY have this up in their press area?  Tone deaf?  Stupid?  Or really, really... really Tough?

So true. Reflection of their coach. You can actually see when they lose hope… it’s glorious.

Going back to halftime in The Game in 2021, after getting bully balled but keeping it close for the first half, they were shook in the tunnel. Down just 14-13, but they were getting bullied, and while UM fans had ptsd, there was no doubt amongst the players on both sides that day, at that moment, about which way that game was going.

Again, in 2022, they come in as favorites with Corum injured, and while bottling up the running game with 8-9 in the box early, gave up big pass plays over the top.  Again, when UM took the lead @24-20, the game was over.  Soft team, anxious team, folded like a cheap suit. Stadium had a cloud of doubt, fear and anxiety. UM closed exactly as one would expect, with Edwards running up the gut twice for two explosive 75 yard + tds, on that mentally weak team, and the UM defense holding them to 3 second half points.

And this year, to their credit, they managed to keep it closer- and actually had a manball run first drive to tie it at 17.  But again, their defense folded, giving up the go ahead TD on the very next drive (the Zinter drive) and then getting choked out on UM’s final fg drive that ran off 8min of the clock.  That final Corum run to the edge for a first down, and you could see their spirit break. Zinter injured, Will Johnson injured, JJ dinged up, but still, OSU never mentally tough enough to steal that game, Day too big a pussy to line up and keep running against our elite D-line.  Needed a miracle on that last drive with 1 min left, but sorry cryin Ryan, there are no Hollywood endings for pussies.

tldr: That entire fanbase is shook and broken, praying their purchased Avengers roster gets over the hump this year.

Oh my. This has to be a photoshop. There's no way he has that on the wall behind him for the world to see. You don't tell people you're tough. You show them, like Michigan did the last 3 seasons.

Picture the brainstorming session as they talked about how to get tougher. And then somebody saying in total sincerity “what if we put signs up?”

Everyone cheered, they did some dancing (complete with jazz hands) and went back to their normal day of shopping for coolers and having sex toys delivered directly to their offices.

Guy is becoming a caricature of a broken, unhinged, overly sensitive leader.

Folks are not dumb and can see through fraudulent.

Day is such a fraud, hence lining up an Avengers roster for him to get over the hump, despite having top talent composite rosters since taking over.

Total pussy.

Good for Day.  Clearly all toughness problems are now solved.  No need to change anything.

Wish I could get a "I heart Ryan Day" shirt with the scores of the last three games on the back.  I'm sure it would be a big hit in Columbus in November.

This is the football equivalent of people who have signs at home that say "Live, Laugh, Love."

Thanks, if I didn't have that reminder, I would never remember to do any of those!

I feel so bad for Ryan Day. Everybody thinks an 80 year old malevolent leprechaun can kick his ass and he is going to get fired in nine months even though his record at Ohio State will be like 60-6 over the last five years.
