I think PJ Fleck has admitted that he is pretty average from an "Xs-and-Os" standpoint, but his strength are in recruiting and motivating his players to give maximum effort every day.

Similar style to James Franklin and Ed Orgeron. They utilize their strengths and throw money at high-profile asst. coaches (Joe Moorhead, Matt Canada/Dave Aranda) to cover up their deficiencies.

Has been abusing the SC defense all night. Darnold very underwelming performance. Flashes of greatness passing but 3 big turnovers. They were overrated in preseason polls. They just scored the tying, pending xp, TD. Many thought they would be a playoff team. They struggle seemingly every week

It astounds me people talk about Lewerke as some great QB.  He's under 50% passing for 2 weeks now.

Also, OSU ran into the soft part of their schedule at the perfect time.  You look at the teams they've played and it's no surprise they are killing people.  I think the team we saw struggle against IU and OU is closer to reality than the team that waxes a terrible Nebraska team or a Maryland team on their 5th QB.

Definitely a possibility, but also keep in mind that OSU lost 3 coordinators (OC Ed Warinner, co-OC Tim Beck, and DC Luke Fickell) this offseason. It could have taken the players a few games to adjust to OC Kevin Wilson's/co-OC Ryan Day's new offense, but instead of opening against the usually MAC cupcakes to iron out the kinks, they tested the offense on Indiana and Oklahoma.

I honestly still think OSU's secondary is a little suspect. Some of it is because they lost three 1st round DBs (S Malik Hooker, CB Marshon Lattimore, CB Gareon Conley). I also think it is due to re-shuffling the defensive staff as well. Greg Schiano went from being the co-DC in charge of the secondary to the sole DC, and Kerry Coombs went from CB coach/ST coordinator to "Asst. Defensive Coordinator"/ST coordinator. So overall there is probably less attention now being focused on coaching a fairly inexperienced group of DBs.

USC has lost some Olineman to injury this year and three to graduation last year, and it shows.  He makes mistakes and forces a lot of passes into tight coverage, but I still think he has a high upside eventually.

I fucking love watching rich rods offense when it is fully functional. This new qb Tate is fucking unreal. We thought denard was good... Good lord
