Of course MSU NOW starts turning the ball over
October 14th, 2017 at 9:22 PM ^
calls regularly. Has a reputation for that now. Jack Jones is much better db even though much smaller.

Yet another wide open receiver against MSU is missed with a throw well out of bounds.

We tweaked our run game a fair amount today. Higdon's long TD run:
Initial FB path opposite of the play side (split flow) distorted the run fit of the LB at the second level https://t.co/b3oGatcj1e

Does Dantonio have some weird juju that causes every opposing QB to throw fades out of bounds?

Never thought I'd say Utah's offense is a beauty to watch.

Come on Utes!!
Darnold is going to set a TO record...

USC seems flat and making a lot of mental mistakes.
October 14th, 2017 at 9:32 PM ^
I don't think USC is all that good, in general.
October 14th, 2017 at 9:38 PM ^
They have regressed and look aimless now.

October 14th, 2017 at 9:47 PM ^
Early mirage based on competition that wasn't good and overrated Darnold. If he could stop throwing INTs maybe.

I wonder if Nebraska will really pull the trigger and replace Riley with Scott Frost this offseason. It wouldn't be terrible timing, Riley has recruited a few high-4* skill players the last couple of cycles, so Frost will at least have some talent to build off of immediately.

October 14th, 2017 at 9:49 PM ^
I know that it looks a little desparate that Mike Riley brought in a transfer in RsJr. Tanner Lee to be the QB, but Nebraska does have RsFr. Patrick O'Brien (4*, #10 PRO, #209 overall), and Fr. Tristan Gebbia (4*, #9 PRO, #200 overall) waiting in the wing.
Scott Frost could very well just walk in and decide to pass over Lee for O'Brien or Gebbia.

If you are asking if they are dual-threats, probably not, but Patrick O'Brien did rush for over 600+ yards the 2 seasons he was a starter in high school.

OT: Should we run more fades to McDoom without looking if any other WRs are open next week?

He was fortunate not to be called for pi there again.
October 14th, 2017 at 9:44 PM ^
That was a better play call than the 3headed monster has managed all season aside from the one O'Korn fucked up today.
October 14th, 2017 at 9:47 PM ^
If I hear one of our players say they're 100% confident in John O'Korn during an interview this week, I will laugh and laugh and laugh.
Then I will punch myself in the dong.

Rofl TAMU's defense
October 14th, 2017 at 9:53 PM ^
Every fucking solar panel targets the "invisible part of the spectrum" and a transparent PV cell phone screen is the dumbest fucking idea I've ever heard of. Fucking Lewerke.
October 14th, 2017 at 9:54 PM ^
State does run that double screen misdirection thing against teams that aren't us.
October 14th, 2017 at 9:56 PM ^
Good lord, what was MSU trying to do there with that punt return?

If we didn't have those two first-half fumbles we would have won even with our QB situation. Or if McDoom hadn't dropped that ball...
Ugh.

October 14th, 2017 at 10:08 PM ^
I've seen them a couple times outside of their game against Michigan and they are just...mediocre. The fact they needed 5 TOs and a backup QB against one of the youngest teams in the country to beat Michigan by 4 was about what needed to happen for them to win.
October 14th, 2017 at 9:57 PM ^
"As long as they have that defense I don't care what that FPI says". Going with Booger on that one.
October 14th, 2017 at 10:00 PM ^
So is Harbaugh - snarky/mildly clever comment from non-Mich fan on interwebs
October 14th, 2017 at 10:02 PM ^
It's true. The FPI doesn't win tough games. But neither will this current offense.
October 14th, 2017 at 9:58 PM ^
they violate the eyeballs and natural law.
