The jacket Harbaugh is wearing is interesting—the image is a bit too low-res for me to be absolutely sure, but I think the logo on his left side is the college football championship logo, with the Jumpman logo on the other side. I can't make out what the word is underneath the logo, but I suspect it says Michigan. You can buy similar jackets with the national championship logo paired with the Clemson, Alabama, or LSU logos.

Since it has the Jumpman logo on it I took a look at MDen but didn't see anything like that this morning.

Looks like Bellamy is also wearing the same jacket, but I don't see a word underneath the NC logo on his.

National Championship (playoff) apparel would be a nice little touch to wear on a recruiting visit

My immediate thought as well.

Harbaugh looks very happy in that photo, and I believe he's neither capable of or interested in disguising his true feelings anyhow—he's sort of guileless, in a way. That's not the facial expression of somebody who's itching to leave for the NFL.

The firing of Schlissel makes this all very intriguing. Harbaugh’s requests would be frowned upon by him, from what I’ve heard. Does that open the door to aid what needs must be met in order for Michigan to contend on a national level?
I think yes.

If it comes down to where Harbs wants to raise his children and NOT money? I’m sorry, but Vegas has nothing on AA.

A part of me really wonders if he is just toying with the emo U of M fans after how hellbent they were on having him fired.  If I tune out all the noise and look at the situation without emotion, everything seems to point to him staying here.  Hope I’m right but if not, we will be ok.

Lol. This is kinda fun. Watching some of you twist in the wind when you wanted JH gone last year.

Random thought; Where does this “knowledge” that Harbaugh is even remotely friendly with Mark Davis originate? Were they together at dinner last year? Something JH said about his friend MD? No! It’s because JH coached for MDs dad around TWENTY YEARS years ago!?!?

Twist baby, twist!

Mark Davis to Jim Harbaugh: Niners 'stole' dysfunction (12/8/2014)

"Before the game, Harbaugh and his old friend, Raiders owner Mark Davis, said hello.

Davis was asked by Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News what the two men talked about.

"I told him, 'You stole our dysfunction!" Davis said. "'That's supposed to be our thing!'""

Harbaugh is the favorite for the LV job, SI reports. Still, more likely, he stays.

"According to BetOnline.ag, Tomlin has the fourth-highest odds to be named the Las Vegas Raiders next head coach. His 7/1 odds trail Jim Harbaugh (2/1), Rich Bisaccia (5/2) and Doug Pederson (5/1)."

I appreciate the fact that Mr. Harbaugh can make a ton of money either at M or in the NFL. i would love to have him back. I feel that his delaying an announcement for such a lebghty period is hurting recruiting as well as a search for a new coach

They literally just got a commitment from a four-star tight end, and harboring the staff have been and currently are on the road recruiting.

Him leaving will undoubtedly hurt recruiting, but I think the extent of how much him not saying anything at the moment is messing with recruiting is overstated by people on blogs

Crazy times since the Raiders fired their GM. JH has his offer form U of M. It's now or never for Jim to go back to the NFL, given his age. No doubt NIL is an issue.

As a fan, I can only keep my fingers crossed that Jim stays in A2.

You are right, but I don't think it's a question we can answer as it's a very personal answer. I look at my parents and they loved their 60's in retirement and doing things with family. If I were JH (which I'm certainly not and frankly I'd be retired already) and wanted to keep working I'd do one of two things...

1. Go to the NFL asap and kick ass for 4-6 years, try for a SB and be retired by 65

2. Decide UM is my final stop and stamp my place in history the next 3-6 years...maybe longer if I'm right in Ann Arbor with my family all settled.

We are applying our own personal beliefs to what he wants when none of us know. Maybe he will work until 75, and in that case he is just getting warmed up! I view it in the lens of at 58, I'd want to firmly decide where I am spending the last 3-6 years of my career. Put simpler, this year/age would be my fork in the road decision if I was JH.
