Mo will be a good pro. Peppers--- not so much. We overvalued him as an NFL prospect * I would give you a +1 if I could Oh, and I believe that jabrill's progress was hindered while at Michigan. They should have put him at one position and stuck with it. Let him learn and grow. They kind of fun*ked him over.

No. Peppers isn't an odd fit for an NFL defense. He's an odd fit for a defense that wants to put him 30 yards behind the line of scrimmage. He belongs over the slot - is a prototypically ideal nickel/OLB hybrid. Cleveland is bad at things. Eventually, he'll go elsewhere and thrive.

If the boilerplate ESPN analysis is correct that they need a DT, he could work for them. I mean, I don't even know what front they run, but if they need a 3-tech he seems like a no-brainer choice with one of their early 2nd-round picks, and with Myles Garrett charging around the flanks he's going to find himself with some favorable matchups to annihilate.

I'm pretty confident that Jackson is going to develop into a pocket passer at least to some extent. Sure, he'll do some escapy things, but he's got a howitzer mounted to his shoulder and I'm looking forward to seeing him use it.

In other QB draft news, if I'm a Buffalo fan right now I'm getting an old rusty rowboat, dropping it in the river, and heading for Niagara Falls.

I live smack dab in the middle of bills territory, and it's fun to watch their fans talk themselves into this pick. "big city players (Willis McGahee) don't work in Buffalo, only small school (Fred Jackson) or country guys (incognito, Kyle Williams) do" "arm strength to throw through the bad weather" "Brett Favres completion percentage increased going from a smaller college to the NFL"
