? I hope you missed the post where i revealed that I'm black. Otherwise, I have to assume that you're being overtly racist by telling me to go back to my trailer. I also bet you didn't talk like that about Charles Woodson, Desmond Howard, Jim Harbaugh, jake butt, Bo, etc. Take away those Ohio trailer trash hoodlums and our program isn't nearly as prestigious as it is now. Just keeping it real. *I'm.a fu*king minority in this country and can't even catch a break here at a sports page dedicated to a liberal college football team. Smh. I hope you guys don't consider yourselves progressive. Edit - the more that I think about it, the more I'm convinced that you're an outright racist. I bet you live your life trying to convince yourself and your friends that you're not racist at all though. I don't blame you personally because you were raised like this. You all are fucking closet racists. I don't care because I guarantee that I'll be banned by 1 am by the head racists. Progressives my ass. Oh yeah, since im keepin it 100 - Jim Harbaugh is the most overrated coach in all of football. Fu*k it
+1 (if I could). Great post.
The sickening part Is that this is a "down year" for OSU in regards to the draft. The talent gap is real and it's tremendous. Got to do something about it
Well You can take a look at this very board and see that many guys were claiming that Jabrill was a better safety than Hooker. PS - I was around here at that time and remember those debates
I'm cool Never believed that Mo would go in the first round anyway. He'll be a 2nd round pick and have a more products career than peppers will because Jabrill should have went in the 3rd. The Browns consistently reach.
Nah They seem to be on a pr mission right now.
Jackson Will get bent in half while trying to implement his game in the NFL. He's got a good arm but he relies on his legs too much. He reminds me of a lanky Braxton Miller.
Maybe Or, he could be a typical NFL d lineman who doesn't warrant a first round pick. Maybe he does come out and look like a Gino Atkins or Sam Darnold though
Don't get me wrong He COULD fit in the right system. That makes him a a system guy who doesn't warrant a high draft pick though... Either he's an elite safety or LB, or he's a mid od round pick who goes on to have a nice NFL career.
If I'm keeping it real I would have preferred they took price if they HAD to have a first round center. Sue me.
No doubt I was just saying that, even though he is an elite athlete, he was kind of an odd fit for an NFL defense. I can remember friends of mine claiming that he was "a better safety prospect than Malik Hooker". That's the kind of unrealistic expectations that I'm talking about
I agree Mo will be a good pro. Peppers--- not so much. We overvalued him as an NFL prospect * I would give you a +1 if I could Oh, and I believe that jabrill's progress was hindered while at Michigan. They should have put him at one position and stuck with it. Let him learn and grow. They kind of fun*ked him over.
I don't know man You have made it sound like eleven warriors is filled with mentally retarded cooler poopers who have nothing of value to share. I don't want to be somewhere like that. Why are you trying to banish me?
We value some Michigan players More than the NFL does. It's just reality
Honestly Price is a decent human being and strong as a mule.
Called it! .
Don't be shocked To see Cincy take a center here.
That's a truly bad pick Everyone was on Cleveland earlier but damn.
Just browsed over your recent commenting history Doesn't appear that you contribute much more than ad hominem punches aimed at people that you disagree with. That cool with me though because this is a message board. Also noticed that you seem to be easily triggered by comments that you consider to be vaguely political.
Well I was born in Tennessee and raised in Detroit (yes, I'm a black man)
Lol Was just pointing out the Michigan colors dude. They look gorgeousness on that 19
Check this out guys https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/mobile/product/719017300/glock_19_g…
They needed speed and coverage skills Help in that secondary. Their offense is never going to win a boat race and they know it. With their secondary being ritually abused every Sunday, I think corner was a smart choice
I know Too bad that he wasn't smart enough to realize that it wouldn't actually "plant" in turf though.
I told you guys That Cleveland may end up taking him at #4
Lattimore They're hoping to catch some of that lightning. They do produce alot of NFL corners down there though. I'm guessing he was the highest rated player on their board at this point
Yes! This is the first time in my 35 years of M fandom that I can remember hoping a transfer QB would be immediate available. The Harbaugh effect
I don't know about barkley Good defenses bottled him up without much effort. He looked great against weak competition but disappeared for large stretches of the season.
Ward I wouldn't be surprised to see Oakland take Ward at 10 if he's still there.
Barkley I've noticed him on many occasions and shying away from contact. That's not a good trait for an NFL prospect
It's sickening to think That many of these people are Michigan natives.
MSU Appears to have a slimy overall culture but as far as dantonio goes - he's a good coach. Other than that hilariously bad 3-9 season, he's been able to produce some pretty good records with questionable talent. MSU has never been a recruiting powerhouse.
Apparently I'm the only one who is concerned that the success of Michigan football is riding on a transfer QB being ruled eligible.
It is Harbaugh's offense That's why last seasons performance was so disturbing.
The transfer whisperer If Shea is ruled eligible and plays well, JH will essentially become the Michigan transfer whisperer and I'm ok with that. The expectations set for him were based partly on the success of Andrew Luck which is a little unfair. That dude would have had the same career trajectory regardless of who his college coach was.
That's exactly what anyone would say When they miss out on a long list of their top 4 and 5 star targets. "Well, those boys didn't project to fit in at Michigan, so we didn't really pursue them".
That would be awesome! Is there multiple star offensive lineman transferring in too? That's the only way 4,700 yards, 52 TDS and a 49-7 lead over Bama is even remotely possible
Intense That's the word I would use for their fans. I've attended The Game 7 times, 3 of which were in Columbus and I can say for sure that they have some intensely passionate fans. I don't see that as a negative.
They're all inbred cooler pooping mouth breathers *except the ones who end up at Michigan such as Charles Woodson, Desmond Howard, Jim Harbaugh, Jake Butt, Bo, etc. The list goes on and on. But the rest - yeah they're for sure inbred idiots.
I wonder about that too He was the crown Jewel of an recruiting class that was admittedly pulled in with illegal tactics. He also helped them recruit other players. If it weren't Michigan he were transferring to, I would just assume that he was paid AND his brother was hired so he would sign with Ole Miss. ** I'm not implying that players who look to capitalize on their talents are bad people.** Anyway, yes I have thought about this scenario.
Not really Especially when you consider that he ran an underwhelming sec program.
Can't get enough lineman Congratulations to the young man for commiting to a big time program. I will say that this certainly feels like a flyer take being so early in the cycle.
Your post inspired me to look at his CB predictions Not good. Don't look at it.
Agreed I don't see a clear path to playing time for Martell (aside from injuries).
I already miss JT He limited the shit out of their offense. They have stud wr's that couldn't get a decent ball for large stretches of any given game.
Maybe But defenses would have came in to our game with a different strategy all together. OSU handled Sam Darnold just fine after The Game. That probably because they went in expecting competent QB play. They came into AA last year expecting comically bad QB play and we're surprised when he actually completed a few passes.
Sounds good I'm a realistic fan and I see the Gary/winovich comment as a tad homerish. If I'm being objective, I'd say that Nick Bosa has outperformed Gary up until this point. So we riding on Winovich being more productive than whoever the other OSU de will be (chase young most likely and I'm just going to assume that he's a former 5*). That's very possible but that doesn't add up to us boasting the best DE tandem in the country.
I'll agree with all Except for Gary/Win being the best DE tandem in the country. They may not be the best in the B1G. And sure our staff may be top 10 nationally but how do they stack up against the staffs on our actual schedule?
Holy sh*t! He covered up murders?! Link please!
Yes, it's ugly But let's be honest, 1-5 against rivals isn't much better than 1-7. They're both horrendous records
