It was a weird game. It felt like there was very little energy (I know, tell that to the MSU D). On tv, it just didn’t feel like a night game or a rivalry.

They assume we started playing the game after Mike Hart made his little brother comments.
Mike is forever a legend, obviously because of his play on the field, but the way he single handily with one comment hyper-exposed how petty the entire MSU fanbase is, and their athletic dept. as well. His comment is what set the media narrative of this rivalry for the next 15 years.
but yes I agree with you, I wish they would mention Carr’s very solid record vs. MSU and go back at least even to the Bo days.

To be fair ...... MSU was playing about as good as they possibly could in the first half but even with a +1 in turnovers they still would have been down at least 10 if M could have scored on 1st and goal.

Defense really stepped up in the 2nd half, with the exception of that blown coverage...good adjustments.
Michigan still has a lot to improve on imo...especially in the red zone.
